I've been just a little absent this series from the forums - mainly just an armchair viewer this year, so you might all have a complete different spin on things but...

WHY? Would you vote for Luke A?? Or even like him?!

WHY?

Personally I think he is a dull stain on the smoking area sofa, with no personality - the only time he smiles is when he is bitching about the insiders and he has probably accumulated the most bitching ever done in a smoking area in the world, it's ridiculousness!!! I really see no reason why people are voting for him, he is truly nothingness!!! What am I missing? Or is he getting the whole 'sympathetic' vote despite him being a cruel, boring person who has obviously hated Luke S since he went in because of pure jealousy. Why is the green eyed monster in the final and the likes of (for example) Scott isn't?!

Well you are entitled to your opinion, but obviously going by the voting public, he seems to have a huge fanbase, so many do not agree with your view of him I would hasataguess.

I agree he has been too boring and nothingness....but he is a nice person and spoken the truth. Better than some of the other idiots. I don't know who deserves to win to be honest..........x

I used to hate him but I started liking him after he destroyed becky, he can be quite funny when dissing ashleigh and becky, now I hope he comes 2nd/3rd after adam and sara

I think Ian Lee put it well last night on BBBOTS. He said he liked Luke A. and wanted him to win.
Several 'nice'people have won BB, my immediate recall would be Craig and Rachel Rice.
It is true that they can sometimes be less exciting but when confronted with so many truly unpleasant people (especially true this year) one is inclined to hope that they do well. Deana, Adam and Luke A. are just so much nicer people than the others. They have failings and perhaps lack the brio of others but I do know that I could easily face a couple of hours chatting to them over a meal.
The thought of a similar experience with Becky, Conor, Caroline and Ashleigh fills me with horror.

Completely agree! I think his support comes from people despising insiders so much that people just automatically like anybody who wasn't part of that group. He's a boring bitch who smokes and made friends with the right people.

People like Luke A because they know despite the bitching he's a decent bloke, and the bitching is a reaction to the insiders being complete aresoles.

I can't stand him, he's just dull, boring, moany and a waste of airtime.

I think you've just insulted Rachel and Cameron there. I never heard any of the two of them spewing bitchy venom with a fag hanging out of their jealous mouths for weeks.

When people accuse Luke A of being bitchy it makes me laugh. They've all bitched - every single one of them. I like Luke A. For all he's been through, he is one of the most grounded, well-mannered, clear-thinking housemates in there.

Amen to that.

I am tired of this "all that he has been through" None of us know what the HMs have been through in their lives. For all we know some could have experienced terrible traumas that they don't wish to harp on about in order to win public sympathy.

Going through the transition from female to male is not the worst thing in the world that can happen to a person, I know many people personally who have gone through much worse and don't whine on about it at every given opportunity.
