i'm going in October, and i'm so so excited, but also nervous :amazed:

I'd rather go somewhere nice. I don't understand people that go on vacation to 3rd world countries.

Because when i go on holiday, i like to visit interesting cultures and immerse myself in the people :)
i don't like to just go on holiday to lay on a beach, or get pissed like a lot of people do - i like to go and fully explore...

Is China a third world country? :suspect: I thought it was the richest country in the world..

Oh Hong Kong would be nice, that's not really China though is it.

I think it depends on where you go in countries like that You can go to some very nice resorts in Mexico for example, but it's not really experiencing the REAL Mexico. I imagine it's the same in China, there are some nice places for tourists, but most tourists don't see the REAl China.

Exactly :hugesmile: i like to go to exotic places, instead of just laying by the pool :) i think it's going to be a manic trip though :D

Actually, China's a second-world country and I'd love to go as well. Most places in the world have nice attractions for tourists, be they first-world, second-world or third-world.

Make sure you go down a Chinese restaurant in the home of the restaurant. :p

they probably do in the parts near India. China is connected to India in the south isn't it?
