Why was it obvious that Pete would win BB7?
 

Hi, on this forum and DS I'm always seeing people say that it was obvious Pete was going to win from day 1, and that there was no tension in the final because it was going to be a Pete victory etc.

I didn't watch that series, so why was that? I know he has tourettes and that garnered him some votes possibly (:conf:) but what else was it?

He had a disability, he had a show romance with Nikki, he was pretty entertaining and he had a massive penis. He ticked all the boxes, really. Plus the other finalists were Nikki (hated for the coming-back twist), Richard (I loved him but he was a bitch), Aisleyne (amazing housemate, but never gonna win), Jennie (lol) and Glyn (there're only so many Welsh votes)

"Tourette's" aka he acted all animated and fun in the DR and then would go and mope in the house about some trivial matter. This excused him from doing **** with Lea, Lisa, Nikki, Aisleyne, and Jennie and from declaring in the final week that if he didn't win, God didn't exist.

Some people imagine that if a housemate has something different about them, the majority of people will feel sympathetic and vote them the winner. Personally, I think most decent people look through any differences and see the person beneath. Pete seemed like a really genuine, funny bloke to me.

The tourettes thing was a major factor but also I think it's because he was just so eccentric, I remember watching the launch night that year he completely stood out from the rest because of how bizarre he was, and it wasn't in an annoying way more of a "this guy is so fun, he has to win" way.

People's support never died for him either from what I remember, everyone wanted him to win from day 1 all the way through.

Never forget him stealing Imogen's wine which lead to Mikey giving Jennie a bollocking and he just stood there and let it happen.

And let's not forget that he dumped Nikki through Heat magazine. What a man!

Pete was entertaining as hell that season. He was the odd one in the house. People like oddballs if they are nice people.

Pete won because he was an AMAZING housemate! Love him! :worship:

He had at least 100 times more personality and integrity than any of the other housemates in there that year!

His worst move was the Nikki showmance. She was a horrid person and housemate!!!!:yuk:

He was entertaining. One of my favourite ever housemates.

because he had an amazing personality. you can watch him on youtube. he was just so zany and loveable.

He did also say that he 'needed' to win because of his dream or whatever so he was inclined to win it from the start, not to mention his disability and the fact that he was always kind to everyone - although I always doubted it. Glyn was the BB7 winner in my eyes. :love:
