Jasmine and Julie's friendship
 

Am I the only one who finds their friendship a bit strange? Like on launch night Jasmine was there sticking up for Cheryl instead of Julie during that task iirc and then when it was revealed she went "I'm never trusting these two bitches" again, ok so she probably has got over that by now but I've never seen them really getting along that well or spending a lot of time together. You can tell Julie and Julian have a good friendship but I only ever see Julie with Jasmine after she's had a big argument or a breakdown where weirdly Julie's always straight there and telling her she loves her repeatedly which is also a bit strange

I guess they could have known each other before or they just don't show the two of them that much on the HL's but it still also seems quite bizarre to me

I like it, would be interesting to see how Julie noms with Jas still in the house.

Julie knows a wounded soul when she sees one and she is giving Jas all the loving kindness she can muster.

Utter bullshine. Jasmine's wounds are self inflicted, and Julie is just muscling in on the inordinate amount of airtime the banshee is getting. The minute she's booted out Julie will fixate on the next HL grabber to get airtime.

She's an absolute fake.

I have also wondered about the Julie/Jasmine friendship MTVN. I can't help thinking that Julie is sometimes in Beth Lynch character. It could be said that she (Julie) does see that Jasmine might need support but for me it is a bit OTT. I also can't help feeling that Jasmine is milking it for what it is - she has decided that whatever she does or who she upsets that Julie will be her shoulder to cry on, a bit like a spoilt child who runs to mummy if not getting away with her tantrums. Julie is slowly going down in my estimation with her caring attitude as I'm not sure I see it as genuine.

I would guess Julie has heard the rumblings of others as to Jasmine but in all likelihood,Jasmine hasn't done a single wrong thing or said a wrong word to Julie,yet.
Julie may see her as an underdog in the house and especially moreso since she is up for eviction.

Julie didn't after all nominate her.
I don't think Julie will really worry herself as to getting airtime,she will know on BB forming strong friendships can actually work against you and she certainly won't have to worry as to highlights,especially from her own status of being on TV for decades.
She will know easily how to be able to get noticed.

If anything it is likely Jasmine is playing on Julie's good nature.
Julie is a bit eccentric but her heart is in the right place,misguidedly she most probably sees Jasmine as somone in need at present.
Although she has said she finds it tiring to deal with her, if Jasmine keeps turning to her I cannot see Julie giving up on her, taking her to the diary room for instance, is also a possible way she tries to hand the problem over to BB too instead of just taking it all on herself.

Jasmine has decided to hang onto the apron strings of the Alpha female in there. She is a bitch with a plan and will act and scam her way through with no regard for anyone. People like Jasmine are users and abusers, they dont form friendships unless it benefits their pockets. In saying this, I do hope she stays and causes more mayhem, she is a nutter but TV gold.

imho Jasmine uses Julie so that she can look like the poor broken lamb for the cameras. I think she was looking for anyone to do it for her and Julie was the first to jump in when she started to go unhinged.

I think Julie just realizes that it's better for everyone if she plays that role and calms down Jasmine, otherwise she will stay a whirling dervish screaming at everyone in the house. The reason Julie talks about it is because it's not any fun, she is taking one for the team and she wants at least a little appreciation from someone.

I find it all very odd and very OTT and Julie has dropped in my estimation for being all lovey dovey with Jasmine - I'm afraid I find it very fake and quite nauseating really.

Me too. I really really don't like julie one little bit. Is she trying to shock with the sexual references and swearing?..

Jasmine come out of the DR last night like she was broken or really sick. Julie practically holding her up. Then when she (Jasmine) shouted Lorenzo it was like she was a child. Very uncomfortable to watch. Very strange!
