martin kemp is growing on me
 

I generally like the bloke

hes got a good vibe about him, hes positive upbeat and seems a caring sort of person

he is of course the biggest star in there (Yes even bigger than the situation through his longevity at the top in the business)

his chat in the gym was fascinating about how the mighty spandau ballet eventually ended like all bands do amidst disagreeents over money, royalties, creative differences women, etc but reunited years later

I think his noinations were spot on again

he explained properly(unlike julian, julie and colleens pathetic anti american drivel) that he nominated colleen as she had prejudged samantha far too harshly for 1 article, when the job of a journalist is to stir up debate, colleeen was too dumb and ignorant to see that.

he also nominated rhian as they never talk , she avoids him and avoids eye contact, this is despite him going to her and saying they should try and talk more

the reason she doesnt go after him is simple, a showmance is out of the question so she has no money or headlines to make by simply talking to a person just for the sake of being friendly and nice

at the moment he may be my favourite to win

just looking at his carrer , quite amazing really, in addition to being in 1 of the worlds biggest bands, selling tens of millions of albums, hes been acting for 40years, made 39 movies/tv movies, directed a few produced a few, written 1 and starred in several tv shows including eastenders for 5 years

got to say hes a bit of a legend

I wasn't sure about Martin at first,but he has grown on me too...every conversation I have heard him in has been very open,not like some of them,you can tell the likes of Julian,Julie and Coleen are playing to the camera...just telling us what they think we want to hear,it comes over as being very false.

He's ok (best of a dodgy bunch) but there's something a tad sneaky about him. However, he will be in final and would prefer him to beat smug Julian Julie and Cheryl

Anybody that hasnt read Martin Kemps autobiography 'true' should do it really is fascinating he really has a great story to tell and does it well.
He has 3 kidneys while his twin brother has only one and he has survived 2 brain tumours and as a result has a metal plate with electrical probes going into his brain to help control the epilepsy he was left with.

As one of them said,it's like their on the set and playing a part...I am looking forward to seeing the real them,the young bimbo's can go,I feel they have been put in there for wallpaper or a show romance..
Watching Julian watch the others do rapping,his face said it all,he had this condescending false smile on his face,he always looks like he is looking down at people,like he feels he is better then anyone else...

I am travelling next month,sounds like a good read.

crikey yes, Id forgotten about that story, wow.. Yes remarkable,he nearly died both occasions, yet through it all , he still has that sort of magic around him that the very few stars have.
