If it had happened this this country there would be a noisy minority claiming the police overreacted and calling for an inquiry. I have to admire the way the US police don't **** about.

Yes Very Valid Point.

The Police
have said the killer Johnson, 53 ,had lived in mahhatten
he was working as a designer for Womans Imports
a year ago he was sacked.
He shot a Co Worker , 41
at his former work place.

One is dead
and the Killer is Dead
8 or more in Hospital

The Killer tried to shoot the cops
so thats why he was shot dead.

So sick to death of all this shit.

To hell with America and its stupid gun rules. If this doesn't give them the wake up that they need then I struggle to think what hope there is for the country.

...The point being this most likely wouldn't have happened if guns were banned. I already know the details.

Same. I don't think there can be any hesitation on the police's part if there's a madman with a gun already having killed people.

Do the British police even carry guns?

arista 24-08-2012 05:48 PM

UK Special Police
only have guns in cars.

To be fair, its almost impossible to ban guns in the USA, sure, normal people might hand their guns in, but the whackos, gangsters and gun nuts? Not likely

Fair enough but they can start by at least not making guns so easy to access and having the police carry guns certainly doesn't help. As it is right now anyone can purchase a gun and do a Anders Breivik with it. It doesn't take a gangster or a thug to do that.
