Over 12 million viewers tuned in to see Tony Blackburn crowned King of the Jungle in ITV1's celebrity survivor show.

Sunday night's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! drew an average of 10.5 million viewers and a peak audience of over 12 million.

BBC1's Sparkhouse attracted an average of 4.8 million viewers before the 10 O'Clock News, according to unofficial overnight figures.

This fell to 4.4 million for the concluding part of the romantic drama which clashed with the announcement of the celebrity survivor winner.

Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? and the penultimate episode of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! were also ratings successes.

An average of 7.7 million viewers tuned in to see Christine Hamilton voted off the survivor show, and Millionaire drew 7.3 million.

ITV1 had a 36% audience share for its peak-time evening programmes, compared to 26% for BBC1.
