The problem with the newbies this year compared to last

They worship the veterans too much. Maybe the whole coach idea, which was only a temporary thing anyway, didn't really work.

it's not just this year.

The problem with them is they are dullards who shouldn't have made it past the first round of casting. The only good casting decisions the last two years were Jojo, Danielle, and Kalia :idc:

Since Ive only seen BB12, BB13 and this series, itd have been nice to have a full fresh cast. Im seeing people completely bum Dan and I have no idea why, hes been an absolute bore and idiot (and I know the love is carrying on from BB10)

LemonJam 28-08-2012 01:38 AM

I actually really liked the BB13 newbies as a whole (Dominic & Lawon <3333 also liked Kalia, Porsche, Shelly, Cassi). This year though I've found it hard to root for any newbies except for Ashley, Wil and more recently (and most likely by default) Joe. Last year I felt like each newbie had a pretty strong or endearing personality whereas this year the majority of them are very meh IMO.

Last year was kindof a different vibe where the immediate effect was newbies vs vets whereas this season they've kindof been placed in these teams which on paper should've made their relationships/loyalty with their corresponding vets stronger. Ironically though, that hasn't really happened in the cases of Ashley/Wil & Janelle and Ian & Boogie.

The problem is the veterans coming into the game, stopping any fights/conflict at all and getting the newbies to drool at their feet. Last years Newbies were brilliant (except Keith/Adam) but were drowned out by Grodner bumming Jordeff and this year with Booger and Rank.

it's not just this year.

I think it's worse this year.

That has happened but in terms of gameplay the newbies have been able to break through this year. This is Big Brother USA its about gameplay not personality because 90% of the time they are lying. If Ian or Frank don't win it's an injustice, Ian is the only newbie that has played a good game (albeit thanks to his vet filled alliance) and Frank is a machine.

Jords, I still say it, you will turn around and love Dan. He is the bestest.

I find it hard to support any of the newbies this year. I feel as if I should support a returning houseguest in default.

Roy Mars III 28-08-2012 09:01 AM

Should be no more returning players. Just a fresh cast
