Flirting ~ It's a 2-way street
 

All I hear on BOTS or from housemates, is that those big bad girls Danica & Rhian are flirts and leading the boys on...but isn't flirting a 2-way street...why is no-one making a big deal about Mike's flirty comments to Danica or Ashley's (albeit almost incomprehensible) cheeky chappy remarks to Rhian? (or for that matter Harvey's attention to Coleen) Doesn't it really highlight our obvious bias when it comes to what we think is acceptable behaviour by men?

Mike is single though, that's the difference.

There is a big difference because the two girls have boyfriends and the boys are single. If the girls hand it out what boy wouldn't go with it.

the guys are single, the girls are in relationships. thats the massive difference. yet they acted as if they were single just to get attention, fame and avoid nominations. everyone else is just playing the game. these 2 cruel women are playing people, also a massive difference.

...but flirting isn't just the domain of the single...everybody flirts (even when your married)...it's fun, normal and it's healthy ~ doesn't make you a bad person...so why all the fuss?

It's all about biological differences - and the fact that Danica already had a BF but instigated the flirting and kept at it even when she knew Mike was falling for her. Then she acts all innocent and insulted when he gets annoyed that she's turned her attention to Lorenzo.
Rhian and Ashley's flirting was mutual from the start and she hasn't really done anything wrong.

To a point though, I don't know about anyone else but I would consider hopping into to bed with someone and nipple tweaking crossing a line

Hmm it might be a gender thing, ok so yeah Danica and Rhian have boyfriends but like with the sexting thing Rhian got all the flak despite being the single one while Vernon was married and that's generally the case with affairs and stuff. Although that said Danica takes it to another level sometimes, I don't think Rhian's done anything wrong though

Vernon got alot of flak too. I think it's more the fact that vernon was already very well known where as Rhian was only known (to most people) for that incident, abit like the Rebecca Loos thing, people don't like to see people profiting on the back of something they should be ashamed of. Obviously the men were more at fault in both those cases, but that's not what either of them are famous for, if you get my meaning

That's true but it wasn't really by choice that they became known for it, well Rebecca Loos seems to have done quite well for herself but I'd say for Rhian it did more harm than good

Danica putting her hands all over Mike is really making seem like she is available, she reeled him in and then moved onto Prince, who I think is reeling Danica in.

Simple.....boys are single looking for a girl, the girls arent and shouldnt be flirting, especially to the point of nipple tweaking.

...I agree the nipple tweaking was over the mark and can't imagine Mike trying the same thing!! Although to be fair, when Danica was taking a hairband out he was admonishing her for her 'womanly ways'...she doesn't need to do very much to get him going tbh.

tbh I never heard of Rhian, I knew Vernon has been sexting someone but I didn't know who it was till CBB and do you think she would have been offered CBB if it weren't for the sexting thing?

I agree. I think Prince sees Danica for what she is and is going along with her game yet at the same time observing her. I don't think he would want her for a GF - she's too slutty.
He may fancy her, but I'm not convinced he's smitten in the least and is just playing her at her own game eg "I would kiss you if you didn't have a BF". He may well be trying to cut through her crap.

No but what I mean is not all press is good press and given the choice I doubt she'd want to be known for the sexting thing, I think she's telling the truth when she says about how tough her life became because of it

Mike didnt fall for her, he was using her for airtime...and he is only annoyed that she is now going for Lorenzo as he is looking second best...(this is the guy who brags he is next in line to Clooney in sex appeal :laugh3:) so now he is pulling the victim card out of his reality bag of tricks...Jamie East made me laugh last night as he referred to him as a "boy".....he is 30...

Sorry to keep banging on, but I just cant get over that people actually think Mike has been blown away by Danica....that little speech he gave about looking for another English girl (cos he just loves English girls) was just soo cheesy and transparent to me anyway.

I hope so, cos that's exactly what she was doing with him. But I rather think he did fall for her. I guess you know what he thinks and feels though. :hugesmile:

Its pathetic isn't it that people seem to forget that this guy is a reality show stooge who was admitting to playing women and 30 person orgies the other day... hes being treated by the female viewing public as if hes some lovestruck 15 year old virgin.

Yes Danica is a flirt but honestly if Mike is getting hurt (which I HIGHLY doubt) ...GOOD

Im sure theres many women hes used that are finding him tasting his own medicine perfect justice.

Oh I have no doubt that she would rather be famous for having some sort of talent instead, I'm just trying to explain though why it seems that women in these situations seem to be more vilified by the public, because it's the only thing they're known for and it's all negative. I think though that if it were two equally high profile people involved it would be more balanced, like for example Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, when he did the dirty on Jennifer Aniston, I think the public villified the two of them, maybe slightly more Angelina but then she has a history of stealing other womens men :laugh:

The last person who took so many women back in one night was Clooney! LOL! Julian soon got up and moved :D
