Similarities Of 'Girls Gone Wild' (Madonna) And 'Some Chords' (Deadmau5)?
 

Ok so in my work 'Girls Gone Wild' plays a couple of times a day, and I'm a fan of Deadmau5. After hearing about how Madonna takes swipes at GaGa for 'copying' her work, it struck me that this song has similarities to 'Some Chords'.

After looking online, Ive seen a few people have noticed it aswell. What do you think?

Deadmau5 is another bitter person who is jealous of Madonna, so haters supporting him don't surprise me.

Yeah I've noticed this before, Deadmau5 :love: He seems to be a bit attention-seeking though (what with the Grammy appearance where he wore David Guetta's mobile number on a t-shirt, too)

Only like 3 of the chords are the same. Barely similar.

Every single Deadmau5 song sounds like a million other dance/electronica songs... this is really grasping at straws.

"some chords" It's just Background music. There's no melody to it. There is no SONG in that song. am i making sense? it's hard to explain how a song is not a song, but i think you know what i mean.

That's because a SONG is SUNG. There's no one singing, therefore it's not a song :)

That's also why I don't think rap music can be classed as songs - they're speaking, not singing - but anyway I'm straying from the topic

I didn't say it was a song? And that doesn't mean that there isn't similarities between the two. And post a video or two of songs which Deadmau5's sound like.

Deadmau5 has an okay set up... but Madonna does it better.
