"Sam wont last till end" - nom reason

Cocky / arrogant but true! But cant believe he said that as a reason to nom erstwhile pal Sam. Cleverly she cant get upset as they had that bedroom convo where they agreed getting upset over being nommed was silly. Savvy Martin.

Martin #gameplayer !!!!

I think he was following up on the "she's missing her family/husband" comment he had just made, meaning he thinks she will walk.

Me too! I was hoping he would give all a great show in there but instead he has decided to lay low.

Yeah I agree with Locke on this, i think he meant she'd walk before the end if she wasn't evicted

chuff me dizzy 31-08-2012 01:45 PM

But he was right, so thats ok by me

I don't think it's in her interests to walk. She's after good copy and will dig in until she's winkled out. The longer she stays, the more she'll be likely to be remembered and, for better or worse, she'll be thinking that anything that'll raise her profile will be a good thing.

HBB1508 31-08-2012 01:45 PM

I thought that was a really mean thing to say and poor Sam didn't look best pleased he said it either.

Jamie585 31-08-2012 01:48 PM

Agree with Locke, don't think he meant it in a nasty way, Sam had been moaning all day about wanting to go home, so martin meant that he thinks she wont last being away from her family.

Clootie Dumpling 31-08-2012 01:56 PM

It's clear she's been putting on the Stepford Wives act and thinks she might have overdone it - rerun her whispered conversation with Julie in the bedroom: 'I've got a steelier side'.

I think Martin's twigged this and is feeding it back to her as his reaons for nominating her.

I also think there's a bit of celeb snobbery involved and his comment about her not lasting the course stems from his view that she was never much of a celebrity.

I thought Martin was a bit out of order saying what he did.
