Showmances

Do you like showmances?

Niamh. 31-08-2012 11:30 AM

hhmmm, if I think they're genuine then they can be ok but that doesn't happen very often.......

Black Dagger 31-08-2012 11:32 AM

Most certainly not.

Faaron was the only one I cared for.

I loved Helen and Paul, they were so sweet and genuine together, they were the days when it wasn't the "in thing" to get in a relationship to have storylines in the house.

- feels all nostalgic for BB2  -

I know, I'd love to watch BB2 again. Brian was amazing as well, he made me fall in love with BB

HBB1508 31-08-2012 11:52 AM

No they annoy the hell out of me but they seem to be all the producers focus on now sadly.

Him and Helen were the best possible final two they could have had, brilliant characters  Remember the "demons" in the mirrors?

Me. I Am Salman 31-08-2012 11:58 AM

just no.

Gillian-73 31-08-2012 11:59 AM

No don't like them at all. They're focused on far to much!

lostalex 31-08-2012 12:01 PM

I don't mind genuine showmances. I can't stand fauxmances though. I liked Jay and Louise cause it was genuine, i couldn't STAND Aaron and Faye though, cause it was obviously just for the cameras.

BigBrotherfan4ever 31-08-2012 12:16 PM

Flamingjoe 31-08-2012 12:20 PM

The thing I remember best about Helen is how sweet she was to Paddy the Bichon Frise, when Brian was being a complete tool and saying it was "evil".

I agree with the general consensus, real romances are OK but the fake ones are just annoying.

Why would they carry on pretending now? they're not even in the spotlight and Aaron cut all ties with BB as far as I know, he refused to ever go on BOTS

He did and there is no valid reason for anybody to think they're pretending imo

Sophiee 31-08-2012 04:08 PM

sometimes, it depends who is involved in them. luke s and ashleigh weren't the most exciting, although I didn't mind them individually as people. the last showmance I liked were aaron and faye.

Razor 31-08-2012 04:09 PM

I am not a fan of showmances at all and I find 99% of them boring. So if many of us dislike most showmances why are producers hell bent on showing us so much? Would we see so many showmances if producers didn't give these couples air time?

Josy 31-08-2012 04:12 PM

Hate them, we don't get a chance to get to see the hm as themselves imo as they are always in the highlights together as a couple.

The only ones that havent annoyed me were in the earlier series'
