When did chewing gum make you a bad person?
 

That and being 70 seem to be everyones problem with Julie. It just sounds odd to me can you really hate someone for that??? Or is it just that alot of people are jealous and want to be Julie???

What a ridiculous thread, of course those arent the reasons people dislike Julie, if you took the time to notice you would see that most members of the forum give good reasons for disliking her.

I have took the time joey and most of the comments have been mocking her age, looks (which is ridiculous, and the fact that she chews gum.

I disagree with that, most of the members I have noticed that dislike her think she's being two faced, bitchy and game playing.

I really liked Julie at the beginning of the series, she made me laugh a lot with some of the things she came out with but no matter how big a fan you are you can surely see that the bitching has gotten worse as the series has went on? I think that's the main reason she has lost a lot of the support she had tbh, I do still like her just not as much as I did at the beginning.

She doesn't chew it, she squelches it. It's awful

I completely agree with you. I think people are being to radical towards her, but she defienetely doesnt deserve to win. Maybe a 3rd, 4th or 5th place for her.

She's not disliked for that, some of us just find the chewing annoying.

Had it of been any other housemate constantly chewing like that we would've felt the same way

I've said it before, you must be related to her to be so selectively blind to her many, many faults and attempting to convince FMs that what we see on the tv, ie a bitter,twisted, vindictive hag, is really a genuine caring angel of mercy. Why is your sig a pic of Julie years ago? Are you still living in the past completely besotted with her Bet Lynch persona, her one and only "acting" role.

Wake up and smell the fag ash! Julie has probably always been a nasty piece of work and it's no good her trying to hide behind her age as an excuse for her behaviour unless you're suggesting she suffers from chronic geriatric animus malevolentia, a newly discovered disease which manifests itself in old, faded hasbeens soap stars who've done eff all before or since their only job. Why should we tolerate horrible people of whatever age? Hope she leaves first.

I do like Julie and as I have said all over the forum,I would like to see her win CBB, she is not my favourite to win but I would be happy if she did.

The only thing I do not care for with her,is in the fact constant chewing of gum or whatever it is. Even as a child,I was always told to empty your mouth when talking to other people so it is something I don't like to see.

I for one have no problem with her age too, I greatly admire her at 70 for even going into the house, I would guess at 20 I would find many aspects of the house hard to cope with, they must be magnified greatly for some who is 70 and also not it would seem in the best of health.
Having said that, she chose to go in though so well done to her for that and also for reaching the final week too.

Along with Julian she has made me laugh and entertained me the most,being fair to her and thankfully has been a welcome distraction from from the tedious so called romantic triangle.

That would be classified as a nightmare, not a dream.

Regarding Julie chewing gum (and I've yet to see her NOT chew any in the house, even for a moment), it is not a nice habit, and clearly one that somebody should have advised her to lessen a little bit. The fact that she does it open mouthed, with no manners, no dignity and smacks her lips together reminiscent of a curb-side prostitute, perhaps highly offends some viewers.

first and foremost I wish I was related to Julie Goodyear, and I'm guessing most of the FM's on here do too.

and secondly this pic is not years old from her bett days, it's actually from calendar girls which she did within the last year or so!

And let's not forget people, this lady was given an MBE from the Queen!

Haha believe me when i say i would not want to be related to Julie. My own mother and grandmothers are a thousand times nicer and better people than Julie, so why would i? We all love our favourites in bb but you seem to take it to another level! No offence

...first and foremost, I'm happy to be related to who I'm related to and the thought, funnily enough, never entered my head... lastly, when you make silly comments like that it takes away from anything else you have to say IMO...
