Julie just refuses to buckle - good on her!

Big Brother has tried terribly hard to ruffle feathers tonight via the medium of the BBTV task. For the BBTV News, Julie became the mouthpiece for lots of unflattering news items revolving round verbatim quotes of housemate-on-housemate backstabbing.

The Corrie pint pourer had already become persona non grata in the House as five nominations testifies. Making her the bearer of bad news, some of which featured herself in the role of ear-burner (Listen up Harvey - Bet Lynch is not a 'disgrace') was the equivalent of getting a giant whisk and applying it to the ambience.

Coleen noticed an "assassin's smile" dancing on Julie's lips during the task and Big Brother's messenger had become eligible for shooting.

Yet Julie was having none of it.

In the bedroom with a concerned Julian, she assured care-y Clary, "I'm dealing with it in my own way. I won't be a squawking wreck."

"You're made of sterner stuff," said the comedian doubtfully, troubled by the notion that his pal is becoming isolated. "It's very calm out there," he said hoping to coax her outside with the others.

Julie went a step further by refusing to acknowledge any form of situation; "I've not got a problem. It's quite peaceful here," she said.

And lo and behold she went on to put her money where her mouth was, strolling outside to socialise with her housemates.
Julie has more guts than the rest of them put together.

Julie will be sitting at home on Thursday watching the HL show along with the rest of us.

Unfortunately this is so, and robo Martin will be silently scouring pots on his way to the final.

Even if she is, she will always be remembered for being the most entertaining and interesting person of the series, which is better than winning by being a non entity...

Beso 04-09-2012 04:54 PM

.she aint going anywhere yet...ask yourself why people would bother voting martin??

Yes you are 100% correct about that jet!

Saph 04-09-2012 04:56 PM

I'd rather Prince made the final than Martin :l

And do you agree that if the baying hordes were to have chosen Coleen as their sacrificial victim instead of Julie...that she would have walked in a fit of self-pitying tears!...? :bawling:

Cheers.

Actually after watching the leopard print DR ridicule I am actually starting to have a few minor doubts re Wed's eviction. She showed remarkable composure as a elderly lady to allow those young scroats rummage around her drawers and take all her clothes to the DR. I thought BB was well out of order playing around with peoples private personal possessions.

Maybe she will stay and King Kemp could be dethroned...!!!

Nice post. Yes, she has to be admired for not making a fuss about many things that a lesser person would be playing the victim card about. She just gets on with things and tries to put them behind her.

Also ask yourself why people would vote for Julie? Yes, she is the entertainment of the show, but so was Jasmine yet she got evicted on the first eviction against Rhian (who literally had nothing to offer).

Julie's been labelled as the 'villain' ever since Jasmine left the house, which significantly increases the chance that she'll get evicted.

I personally hope Julie stays in, but I highly doubt it, especially considering this is a double eviction (if I'm correct).

I agree with you. Whether you like Julie or not she is made of sterner stuff than Coleen cry baby Nolan. More than half the viewers will never have seen Julie as Bette Lynch therefore they do not know why she is considered a legendary character.
She has had far worse things happen to her than being nominated on CBB. Some people think it is the end of the world but she will just carry on being Julie because,'what you see is what you get'.
Not one housemate in there can hold up their hands and say they have not talked noms or been two faced. The worst for me has been Coleen and she started at the very beginning. Probably miffed because Cheryl and Julie were chosen for the first task. Coleen is followed closely by Martin. I am so disappointed in him. He was one of the ones I wanted to win. But not now. I hope Julie can overtake him. Trouble is Jamie East does not like Julie.

Yes it is a double and the Prince will go first leaving a head to head between Martin and Julie. Both big characters with their own fanbases but the swing voters are are the viewers who are impartial and vote basically on what they have seen in the HL shows. And to be honest in the last 10 days Julie has not come over in a very positive light whereas Martin has been Dull but fairly genuine.

I think it will go down to the wire but I do think Martin will pip Julie for the right to stay in and make it to the final...!!!

She is a coward....she hasnt got the guts to confront them. Shes all mouth behind their backs but thats as good as it gets...

Not by me. The miserable, slack jawed, gum chewing, chain smoking, foul mouthed, two faced, arrogant, deluded, malicious old hag can't get the boot quick enough for me:idc:

realitytvsux 04-09-2012 06:23 PM

Maybe her memory is completely shot. That would explain why:
- she nominates someone and then comes out and gives them a kiss
- she is surprised that people find her two faced
- she thinks she is Harvey's nana!
and lots of other stuff i can't remember right now ;)
