Sky1 plans Truman Show-style series following families for a year
http://www.guardian.co.uk/media/2012...-show-families
Stripped reality soap will use Big Brother filming techniques to give a large-scale insight into British life Big Brother for a Year I hope they give us Live Feed Worldwide. Sky1's "stripped reality soap" will be filmed using Big Brother-style fixed rig and single cameras and will, according to the broadcaster, "use all the techniques of reality TV and soap opera on a scale never seen before" |
I wonder if this could be used in High Education
as its a whole year. Could it be a battle Sky1 Vs Ch5? |
Could be interesting

That's basically a soap opera.

This is a Year and some may forget the cameras. |

Nah, it definitely won't rival Big Brother.
My question is, is it a show like The Family which aired on Channel 4, by which I mean, cameras placed in an already existing town and houses, or something like Big Brother where cameras are placed in a "set-up" environment, that is, a town and houses set up for the purposes of the show. If it is the latter then it could be good. However, since it is on Sky1 it will probably aimed at "all the family" with no adult story-lines or swearing, much like the rest of its terrible home produced drama and "comedy" |
I smell a flop

Didn't know what the Truman show was so I watched it online and I would love a show like that :amazed: and I hope they have livefeed to.
