An 'Eventful' Shift At Work Today...
Basically I work p/t in fast food, and before I joined, a customer (and clearly a thug) used a large pitchfork thing and scratched the windows of the store before leaving, dunno why as it was before I had started. Anyways, today I was on till, and he comes in (obviously I am not aware of his track record at this moment in time). A fellow staff member serves him at the till two away from me (and there are only 3 tills, so quite close as you can imagine). I am serving a customer myself, but am listening. He wants a burger but doesn't appear to have the correct amount of change, and when he finally does, he demands free cheese. When the staff member on till says no to this, he begins shouting for the manager in a rather loud manner, whilst others are in the store. After my manager and him have a dispute, my manager says that he has footage of his last appearence from cctv, of which he demands to see, and shows him a clip on his phone whilst explaining he has more. Eventually my manager refuses to serve him and gives him his money back, walking back towards the office. The 'thug', clearly pissed, shouts 'is that my burger', and JUMPS over the surface, takes a burger from the chute (where burgers are kept once made), throws trays over the floor, jumps back over and walks out. I just cannot get over this kind of behaviour. Funny thing was, at one point before it really kicked off, he said to my manager 'Im from Peckham and last time I was here one of your staff was racist towards me' despite being white.... :conf: so yeah, eventually the police arrived, and thats my story!
