School rivalry

Is it a problem where you are? What are your thoughts on it?

Saph 11-09-2012 07:13 PM

I remember there was in year 7 and 8 but after that no one cared

Kizzy 11-09-2012 07:15 PM

It's totally normal and has been happening prob since schools were invented.
Pecking orders, playground politics ..It's just school life and part of secondary socialisation, don't worry about it.

Locke. 11-09-2012 07:15 PM

Used to be great when in like year 7/8, had a big war with the school down the road. Some took it too far though bringing knives and stuff.

Jamie. 11-09-2012 07:16 PM

There was a school riot about 20 minutes ago where I live, between two crappy schools. Police were called. It's ridiculous and actually quite worrying tbf

Vicky. 11-09-2012 07:16 PM

LOL. The fights with the other schools were the ONLY reason I was on the netball team :D

People always used to talk **** about the school near ours coming over and invading the school during lunch whilst pelting everyone with eggs and stuff. It never happened though. :idc:

MTVN 11-09-2012 07:19 PM

Not really, although we sometimes had our 6th form parties in this town where all the kids from the school there would come down and try to kick off

Jayson 11-09-2012 07:19 PM

There were a lot of fights between my old school and the school over the road as we shared the same bus stops

Kizzy 11-09-2012 07:22 PM

Our school were made to 'mix' for a day due to rivalry...Only some mixed too well and were found shagging in a toilet...oops

HAHAHAH Yeah this.

Although I remember some trampy looking bitch from another school scratched my face quite badly when I was Goal Attack & she was Goal Defence :bored:

But yeah our school used to always fight with the school round the corner and the police used to come on horses to split all the crowds up.

Good times.

armand.kay 11-09-2012 07:27 PM

Well in primary school when we went on a trip we would give dirty looks to other schools we saw :idc:.
And in year 7, 8 and 9 it was always between the girls most the boy came from the other schools or just know lots of people from there.

Shaun 11-09-2012 07:28 PM

Can't remember any school rivalries... a couple of the community college would loiter from time to time picking fights, but nothing major.

CharlieO 11-09-2012 07:28 PM

Why? :joker:.

Redway 11-09-2012 07:37 PM

Yeah. My school was very bad in secondary school and you had all sorts of rivalry going on. It was like you had people desperately aiming for popularity but failing abysmally and acting like total *******.

It was in the middle of a huge public park so I suppose it was easier for them to get through the crowd on horses

Flamingjoe 11-09-2012 07:45 PM

I started secondary school just under a week ago, so I'm not really sure yet if there is or will be any school rivalry. So far, I haven't seen any at all though.
