Daily Mail and Daily Star Vote Rigging Scandal?

Come on they have technical issues, if they got caught rigging a vote they could get in to serious trouble for fraud. They have no story so start to make one up.

Day 57, July 14: Big Brother fans have expressed fury because they believe their text votes to save Nikki from eviction are fixed - in a plot to save Aisleyne.

Fans say show bosses are fixing the show to prevent Aisleyne from being evicted tonight.

When viewers sent messages to Big Brother vote lines wanting Aisleyne out - to save Nikki - they were told their vote was not valid.
They got texts messages back saying "Sorry, we do not recognise your vote."

Angry fan, Denise Taylor, 54, from Devon told the Daily Star: "I sent three texts and they all came back saying the same thing, that my vote wasn't recognised.

"It's just not good enough. Big Brother is happy to take out money and thnk we'll just ignore it when they mess up. It's not on. We should be able to vote off who we hate without worrying Big Brother is fixing things behind the scenes.

Channel 4 bosses admitted there was a technical problem with the text voting on Aisleyne's line, but vowed to count all votes submitted.

Bookmakers predict Nikki will be voted off the show tonight.

I think its just a fix to get people to try Aisleynes number more than anything else. Nikki should go tonight hopefully.

Doesn't money from voting go to charity anyway. At least 25p if I remember correclt. Adam Rickitt also donates to charity often. He once gave 4 goats to a petting zoo for children in Aberystwyth. He would make an excellent housemate.

thank god big brother isnt running the country in that case........or is he?

Foebane100 14-07-2006 04:23 PM

I don't think any money from BB goes to charity and I think people would be surprised at just how much money the voting makes.

Lil-Lindz 14-07-2006 04:23 PM

Some money should go to charity

Sparacus 14-07-2006 04:24 PM

Check the next time the phone lines come up, I tihnk it says 25P goes to charity.

GlitterEyes 14-07-2006 04:24 PM

Some money should be spent getting copyrights and permission to air the songs, I miss that:bored:

BigSister 14-07-2006 04:27 PM

whats the daily mail getting involed anyway i mean the daily star i can understand

Foebane100 14-07-2006 04:27 PM

I was wrong they have started this series that 10p from every vote will go to charity, but the cost of a vote has gone up also.

Not against the rules but it is still allowed vote rigging...Emotional people who distort the real popularity of a housemate and thus deny what you could call a "fair result".

Just imagine if general elections were allowed such a voting system....It would start a war......Little wonder BB causes so much frustration amidst voters who don't have money to wast....

Yep, looks like the old 'my vote for housemate x wasn't registered' to get everyone to try out the number and vote that housemate out scam.

Foebane100 14-07-2006 06:17 PM

Hey James greetings from Ayrshire.:xyxwave:

MarkWaldorf 14-07-2006 06:19 PM

I dont think its a fix
People are probs just all voting for Nikki

Slezer 14-07-2006 06:57 PM

My vote aint keeping anybody in/out of the BB house. I doubt my vote is going to be the decider of anything. There aint no point in voting until the final anyway.
