Every time the Muslims react this way, they just help the islamophobes make their case. Absolutely disgusting reaction from the muslims. No respect for freedom of speech or freedom of expression at all.

Yes thats something they do not want. |
And this is why it was stupid if us to rush into giving financial and military assistance to Libya's rebel militias

Supporting democracy doesn't mean you support everything that those groups believe. This is a Muslim problem all across the arab world, not just about the arab spring. Remebber the koran burning? remember the muhammed cartoons? This has nothing to do with the Libyan revolution or the arab spring. This is about Muslims everywhere thinking that violence is an appropriate response to free speech and free art. |

Plus everyone talked about the threat if Gaddafi bombing Benghazi, well what the hell did NATO do to Sirte? http://static.skynetblogs.be/media/41699/2454970293.jpg |
"most of whom just wanted democracy,"
Yes some said that. But the leaders in charge have a mixture of muslim people some want the old ways. America and UK need to pull out of Libya no more Ambassadors to be killed |
No it's not a "Muslim problem" it's an extremist problem, strange how we never hear these stories from countries like Indonesia isn't it?

Bin Laden was behind the Bali bombing I believe, Muslim country can be just as much victims of extremism as Western countries
And it obviously wasn't taken before, Sirte was a rich city which had had a lot of investment |

This isn't just a few nut jobs, these are crowds of thousands of people all around the muslim world. So no one can use the excuse "well it's not all muslims, it's just a tiny minority" those crowds were not just a few Muslim nut jobs, they were huge masses of Muslims. And this isn't an isolated incident, it happens over and over and over again whenever they get "offended". It's insanity and it's a very serious problem within the Muslim culture. If everytime the Christians in the US and western Europe rose up and behaved like this any time something offensive about Christians was said, can you imagine it? i can't, because it's so ridiculous. Why is it only Muslims that react this way? It must be something cultural, and it's not okay. |

MTVN, I commend you on this thread. People need to realize, less than 5% of muslim, are belligerent, and would act violently, because they feel offended, or disrespected. Most will be offended, but shrug it off. The people that caused, know that there are that small percentage which will use it as an excuse to excercise their belligerent ways.
Why would you provoke these people at a time of unrest like right now? You putting innocent bystandards, in danger. Its not about freedom of sppeech! I think you should always think of the impact, on others, not just you. Anyone that does these kind of provocation, know exactly the impact, and are probably relishing in the chaos. Not outraged by the innocents, who got killed. |

5% out of millions is A LOT of people though. it is absolutely about freedom of speech. You don't have the right or the excuse to kill someone just because they say something offensive! No one should have to be afraid of being killed just for their speech or their ideas. You should judge people based on what they DO, not what they say or think. Speech and thought should never be illegal, no matter how offensive. and it's NEVER justified to take VIOLENT actions based on being offended. |

I bet Denis Leary will play him in a movie.

it's so easy to play the 'let's find a scapegoat' game, the scapegoats always being Muslims. Look at the two shooting incidents that happened in the US this summer. |
