Currently airing its 2nd season on Starz over there, but the first season is always...catch-uppable... :pipe: only 8 episodes as well (but they're an hour long).

Centres around the mayor of Chicago (played by Kelsey Grammer (Frasier, Sideshow Bob), who won the Golden Globe for this part) who's been diagnosed with Dementia with Lewy bodies (a degenerative neuroligical disorder). It's pretty dark and has some dodgy dealings in order to stay in power :pipe:

I found newsroom to be really frustrating.

Same. Ridiculously fast-paced and impossibly 'witty'. Sorkin really needs to discover a simple pleasure. Wanking, maybe.

That final episode was the stuff of nightmares. The sex and the city bollocks was appalling. I'll start season 2, but I'll be amazed if I get to the end.

Oh I didn't last that far, I gave up after episode 3 :laugh:
