Who is it easier for?

Is growing up and life in general easier for men or women?

Marc 19-09-2012 05:58 PM

Men probably have less hang ups about image, but not as less these days. Um women have more bodily issues that cause discomfort (nice way of saying periods).

Well for a start you can never go through something as painful as being kicked in that very sacred area

childbirth.

Life can be tough for both genders in different ways but I think men have it harder as we get told to get a job quicker than girls do, in our younger years there are some shallow girls out there judging your looks, and people are just generally harsher on guys than girls I feel when we do anything wrong.

Obviously easier for men.

As a man of course i've seen how women are talked down to and patronized every single day of my life i've seen it. It's undeniable.

that being said, life is not "easy" for anyone. But there is certainly more discrimination against women than towards men. I don't think anyone can deny that.

Don't be silly, that is nowhere near as bad

Me. I Am Salman 19-09-2012 06:12 PM

Woops picked the wrong option
I think in today's society it's more difficult for women but 70 odd years ago the answer would probably be men because of war etc

Shaun 19-09-2012 06:12 PM

Cons for men:
- Don't get bought drinks by flirts :idc:
- kicks in the nads
- Expectations to be "manly"
- Messy wanks

Cons for women:
- Inequality in a lot of countries
- Childbirth
- Peer pressure and the demands of fashion (although this is seeping into manhood now) and body image
- Patronising men :idc:
- Menstrual cycle

Men have it slightly easier tbf

lostalex 19-09-2012 06:13 PM

it's just a silly question. When you see all of the VAST evidence of discrimination and abuse rates, rape rates, murder rates, it's quite clear who are the victims and who are the victimizers.

Let's get real now.

Well it depends on your own experiences and you've experienced differently to me.
