Shaun 27-09-2012 03:27 PM

this is why dogs are evil

Nedusa 27-09-2012 03:46 PM

This is similar to the case in Ireland where 3 members of one family died trying to rescue the family pet dog from a slurry tank. A father and two sons died one of which was a rising star in the world of Rugby.

So sad that people put their lives at risk (and lose them) to save an pet but the bond is very strong and carrying out an HSE assessment is not the first thought...!!!

Marc 27-09-2012 03:48 PM

Shaun

I remember reading that story Nedusa

How awful! It's crazy how much we'd do for our pets - I think I'd do the same if mine was in danger. Rest in peace...

I knew both well, still very shaken by the news. Alicia went to school with me (few years older). Happened about 10 minutes from my house.

Terribly tragic.

Marcus. 27-09-2012 05:42 PM

Yes Marc,i was thinking exactly the same,it's instinct that makes you do such things, such a terrible tragedy.

Fetch The Bolt Cutters 27-09-2012 05:59 PM

ugh this is literally the most upsetting news story ever

arista 27-09-2012 07:03 PM

Yes as the dogs got out later
thats a warning to others.

I can understand why they jumped in
at that time, though
