This is similar to the case in Ireland where 3 members of one family died trying to rescue the family pet dog from a slurry tank. A father and two sons died one of which was a rising star in the world of Rugby.
So sad that people put their lives at risk (and lose them) to save an pet but the bond is very strong and carrying out an HSE assessment is not the first thought...!!! |

How awful! It's crazy how much we'd do for our pets - I think I'd do the same if mine was in danger. Rest in peace...

I knew both well, still very shaken by the news. Alicia went to school with me (few years older). Happened about 10 minutes from my house.
