Yup.

One of my modules is "Vampires and Vampirism: Intercultural Perspectives" and basically it looks at the ideas connected to vampire stories (e.g. fear of the unknown, strangers, transmission of diseases, gender issues blah blah blah) and it's taught by one of the three German lecturers at my uni and we had to pick two of the three available so yeah.

Is Buffy still sexy and brilliant in Germany?

That sounds really interesting... That comes across as a little sarcastic, but I mean it. I love vampire stories and films. Honestly though, Edward could take Buffy.

Doesn't it! I'm really enjoying it so far, it sounds ridiculous on paper but it's actually so fascinating. I've to give a presentation in December on vampires and the psychology of the victim, and we've to link it in general with victims of crime and we have to find examples we can compare real life crimes to fictional vampire story victims etc... :hugesmile:

Edward just fancies a really awful actress and got killed by Voldemorte

Oh and Marc, we watched it in English :laugh: the module's nothing to do with German, it's just taught by the German lecturer so it counts for credits in the German subject. Confusing but yeah.

That sounds intriguing. Have you started working out your presentation? I'd be really interested to know how you tackle it.

I'm still waiting for a vampire story that's anywhere near as good as Bram Stoker's original Dracula.

Not yet Livia but I'll probably start working on it later on in October, I've plenty of time to work on it! I'll let you know what I end up doing!

Hahahah it actually is, well the main buildings anyway, which is where I have this particular lecture. We actually call it Hogwarts hahaha.
