Ash would have woken up with a horse head on his pillow had he have made inroads with Rhian. I had a sneaky feeling Rhian's boyfriend wasn't the camera-shy 'cockold' type Brian was making him out to be.

Looks like a case of too much alcohol and tragedy ensued. This guy was a student as was the victim. They were not criminals or drug dealers/gang members.
A scuffle ending in someones death after a nights drinking, happens too often and he deserved his jail time.But this guy is unlikely to re-offend and seem to have gotten his degree and moved on.

A good lesson in what happens when people drink too much especially young men.
