How one of the most popular HMs could be evicted
 

I was trying to see how Nikki could go, and it makes sense to me now.

Nikki didn't go because she was the least popular, it's because she was an easy target. The MANY Nikki fans who voted were voting against one HM or another, and split the vote.

Look at it like this, if there were 100 fans, 40 who love Nikki and 10 each who liked a different HM, then Nikki would be the most popular.
BUT, if all the other fans voted against Nikki and the 40 Nikki fans split their eviction vote among the others, Nikki would be out.

That's how someone can be the most unpopular AND the most popular at the same time.

In a head-to-head eviction, Nikki would have never been out, unless it was the very end and she were against Pete or maybe Glyn.

wrong, people voted her out because they could not take her anymore she was no longer entertaining if she was she would still be in the house

Yeah i see what your saying, i wasn't a Nikki fan personally but if the fans she did have all voted for the same person then maybe she might have had a small chance of staying but because they voted different the votes split.

Any time someone is a big character, they're going to get fans and haters. It's easy to survive an all-house eviction if you're someone like Dimogen who doesn't really inspire strong feelings one way or the other.

Sure, some people obviously didn't like Nikki, but I'll bet as many or more loved her, and if it had been voting for who stays IN, she'd have come second or third.

i think so many people liked her yet so many people hated her and found her annoying

fair enough i see what u are saying but in the end nikki and with a mess up by jayne created her own downfall, in the end she annoyed quite a few of the nation, if it had been a vote to save it prob would have been a different story i agree

I agree. :spin: The poll on here had Nikki as fav to go BUT it also had her as favourite housemate. If she was up in a 2-way eviction vote, she would have standed a better chance. Hypothetically if she was up against someone like Mikey, Imogen, Susie, Michael, Richard or Jennie she might have standed a chance because it gives her fans a main target to vote out. Particularly if it was someone who had little support like Mikey or Imogen, they would lose because they dont have the fanbase to counteract Nikkis...unless of course many people hate Nikki alone and will get rid of her just because they want to and judging by the reception, Nikki was not a 'Grace'. However if she were up against Aisleyne, Pete or Glyn in a two-way tie she would have competition as those guys actually do have fanbases that are willing to save them.

I'm glad others see the same thing I do. It makes me all the more upset at Jayne, because it was her mucking about that caused this situation in the first place.

If it was just 2 hms this wouldn't have happened cause they would ahve all chosen the other one

That is why nikki has survived the last few evictions against so many of hr haters, it is because nikki fans has somewhere to concentrate their votes, that is why i did not waste my money pointless voting when nikki haters united to get nikki out. That is why i think evictions should only be between 2 housemates

I think that NIkki would have won if she was in the last week. She would definately beat Glyn after that stupid rat/vole incident. Now Pete has the prize wrapped up.

Yes i totally agree that maybe the Nikki fans spread their voted out more - and maybe the Aisleyne fans voted for Nikki because they were desperate to get her out. In fact, Nikki was about 5 times more likely to win big brother than Aisleyne so this is very unfair. I think multiple voting has gone on here:mad: I hate Jayen so much now she is big mouthed cow and when she is up for eviction next week which she will be, i will vote her out 100 times. im not joking.

Without a doubt the reason left was because there was so many people up for eviction.

Nikki had so many fans that unless she was against Pete or Glyn, she'd have stayed.

She has a lot of fans but so many people disliked her too. She's not an in-between character. You like her or you don't.

The way the BB voting works (aka the best way for producers to make their money) is to get the public to vote people out. If it was positive voting rather than negative, Nikki would have stayed this week and one of the non-entities like Susie or Mikey would have gone.

But hey, that's BB and that's the way the cookie crumbles.

well it was tragic at least she was entertaining, BB7 might as well RIP now cos it was already boring before Nikki went

i doubt BB producers set it up to get nikki out, if they were going to do anything they would set it up so suzie was going to go
