Carolynne was boring and never going to win anyway.
 

I would much rather watch Rylan perform next week. At least he's entertaining. He may not be the best singer but I find myself looking forward to his acts. Carolynne's performance was average and boring and she was never going to win away.

She was worse than boring, she was dire. The most ridiculous song choice I have ever seen on the show. Rylan wasn't the worst by a long shot.

Am I the only one that thought Carolynne was alright with Nikki Minaj? much better than most of the acts that beat her imo and I think that she looked to pretty for the teenage girls to ever want to vote for her.

well he clearly can hold a tune. He can sing. People hate him for the way he speaks and the way he acts. That's cool, but don't delude yourself into thinking that he's the worst singer because there're members of Union J, District3 and MK1 more guilty of poor vocals.

She's a better singer than Rylan sure, but she is not entertaining to watch at all. If I had to choose whose concert to go to between the two of them, it would be Rylan's.

The fact that Christopher's dreadful ballad and Union J's slaughtering of Queen picked up more votes than a country version of Starships, is proof this show lost all credibility a long time ago.

She would have struggled to make it past week 3 anyway if she'd been shaved. It just like on XF USA when people got hung up on Nicole sending the vote to deadlock which resulted in Rachel Crow's demise, even though she was dreadful.

She could have smashed out some ballads just like Ella and got the votes.

Neither was Carolynne IMO, I think the boy groups were the worst and that idiot Christopher, shame neither of those went.

When judging the sing off last night the judges should have based it on the performances, I get how Rylan is likeable and people want to watch his performances for the entertainment. But his sing off was dire, you could hardly hear his vocals. And Carolynne's was just brilliant.

The fact that there seems to be not much of a market for her is not the point. X-Factor should have stopped putting jokers like Rylan thru ages ago cuz it totally undermines the credibility of the show. Her song choice was bizarre but she sing it well and was no where near the worse.

I feel a small amount of satisfaction that I predicted she'd be in the bottom two but XF as a show is beyond dire. Its not been a talent show for ages and this weekends results confirms it yet again. Having said that it difficult to not feel sorry for Carolyn and all the other good singers who auditioned in good faith only to be denied a place in the finals cuz of the supposed 'entertainment' value of jokers like Rylan. Personally, I dont find listening to bad singing entertaining.

Rylan can hold a tune no better than the average karaoke singer. Difference is most Karaoke singers know they do not have nearly enough talent to produce performance after performance week after week but this Rylan joker thinks he can. The judges talk alot of sh*t in the auditions about giving people false hope when they're useless what would you say they giving Rylan? He' not good enough ,he cant be coached to be good enough, he has no kind of career ahead of him as a singer what the hell is he doing in the live finals?

the jokers get the show airtime and headlines. Be so dull without them.

I dont agree. They dont add anything to my personal enjoyment and I dont think XF struggles for viewers. I think the whole thing is very predictable from the auditions to the live show every years its the same. If the producers actually threw some quality at people I think the public would react well to it. The jokers do nothing more than make the show into a ridiculous soap opera.

It's just a shame carolynne was not given a break earlier in her career.
I feel so sorry for rylan he will be totally slaughtered in the media for this.

Since when do singers have to be 'entertaining' to watch anyway? Plenty of very successful singers just stand there & sing, that is their talent, not prancing about on stage wearing ridiculous costumes (unless you are into Lady Gaga of course...)

Carolynne was a completely different genre to Rylan (Country Vs Pop) so it's a little unfair to say she was boring, (as those sort of singers do just basically stand there & sing), when we should be judging them on their singing abilities, otherwise we'll have another farce like Jedward on our hands!
