I cannot be bothered to dislike him...

I do find him irritating but he is serving his purpose for the Producers, which is to cause controversy and add some fun to the show, although that will be debated between those who either like or dislike him;).

you made a thread about him!
good or bad he has people talking about xfactor.
to the producers he might as well be this years winner,
its all about the money.

TBH if this is what people want from the premier talent contest in this country after nine years then fair enough. Its not for me, I'm not a fan and I never will be.

Indeed I did and you are spot on, the Producers do not care what people think because Rylan as I said is doing exactly what they want him to do.

I don't want him to win, but I would like to be his friend!

I find him incredibly likable and fun.

you say that but look at some the winner's
one album deal and then they are gone!
its an entertainment program other wise they woud not send people on stage to make themselfes look like dicks,

Considering how the X factor trots out the same controversies every year, the producers should really be applauded...as each year it has the same effect....controversy!

He does seem fun and is obviously good socially because the other contestants looked genuinely pleased when Dermot said his name last night.

the producer do care what people think, if not for people rylan the show would be boreing.

you loose more viewers from a show being boreing than you do for someone being a bad singer.

So true, every years its the same controversies yet after nine years the incredibly discerning British public still cant get enough of it. Pathetic, if you ask me. I doubt any of the various versions of XF around the world has as many jokers reach the final stages over good acts than ours. It doesn't say much for the Brits and their taste.

I dont think thats true but if it is I think its is more or less confined to this country. I think if they threw a bit of quality at people they'd respond. I cant think of any other talent contest where dross is given priority over talent. None of the Andrew Lloyd Webber shows have celebrated garbage contestants and I dont see why people still make that argument about XF.

He's terrible but might as well just accept that he'll he around for a few more weeks.

Apple202 15-10-2012 02:58 PM

I like him.

Black Dagger 15-10-2012 03:46 PM

I'm at that point where I know it's not all about a singing contest anymore, it's been proven for years and last year was the final nail in the coffin... so I'm just enjoying him.

We've already lost 2 of the best contestants already, so why not just enjoy him.
