Damn, I was gonna create this thread :p

Excited and hoping not to be disappointed. Nicholas Hoult (Tony) ruled out a return because he was busy but apparently filming hasn't begun yet (wut) so I'm hoping that's not true, ideally I'd like all the main characters to return from each generation.

Ramsay 15-10-2012 09:45 PM

Its gonna be a fail without Tony tbh

Locke. 15-10-2012 09:46 PM

Will only watch if they get Tony back.

Jack_ 15-10-2012 09:47 PM

Emily and Naomi are a must for me.

Shaun 15-10-2012 09:49 PM

just all of generation one tbh

Joe. 15-10-2012 09:50 PM

I'm REALLY hoping all the actors who've said they are 'busy' aren't and tomorrow will just be the best then. Jal's ruled out a return aswell :'(

Still though- so glad Effy and Cook are coming back! I can see all of Gen 2 returning, obviously all of Gen 3 will return if the writers want them it's just Gen 1 that it might not be all of them!

"Skins Pure" by Bryan Elsley

Cassie (Hannah Murray) is adrift, alone and invisible in London, trying to make sense of her life. Slowly she realises that someone is following her. Cassie turns towards the unknown. A strange and poignant friendship is carved out of mutual loneliness, but can it survive exposure to the real world?

"Skins Rise" by Jamie Brittain

Cook (Jack O'Connell) has a job delivering drugs to Manchester Revellers. When he is asked to help his employer's girlfriend find a house and finds that he is irresistibly attracted to her, he sets off a train of events which will lead him into a world of savage revenge and a confrontation with his own violent past.

"Skins Fire" by Jess Brittain

Effy (Kaya Scodelario) has a dead end job as a receptionist for a leading London Hedge Fund. But as she stumbles across crucial financial information relating to a troubled deal and embarks on an affair with her wealthy boss, she finds out that she has bitten off more than she can chew. Her flatmate Naomi (Lily Loveless) tries to stop Effy from ruining her life, but Effy cannot be reached; until tragedy strikes. [63]

Nooooooo, I always imagined her and Sid lived happily ever after. :(

This is probably the one that interests me the most. Cook for the most part was a decent character.

I really hope "until tragedy strikes" isn't a predictable death, otherwise this could be quite decent too.

Black Dagger 16-10-2012 11:45 AM

I hated the 2nd gen

But I'm sure Cook & Effy will work.

CASSIE :amazed:

Ramsay 16-10-2012 12:04 PM

Wish there was more than just Cassie from Gen 2 and why is there no Gen 3? :(
But yeah sounds good!

Joe. 16-10-2012 12:05 PM

Yeah I think there should have been an episode per generation tbh.

Jack_ 16-10-2012 12:18 PM

It sounds alright to be fair but it's not as good as I was hoping. They should've included generation three and I'm still a bit gutted this looks like Sid and Tony won't be returning. I also hope they tie up the loose ends even if the characters don't appear (like explaining what happened to Cassie and Sid and what happened to Cook after he attacked that crazy man). It'd also be quite nice if there were crossovers as well where Cook meets Cassie etc.

In an ideal world world I'd have had Tony for gen 1, Effy for gen 2 (with appearances from Cook etc) and Frankie/Mini for gen 3.

Ramsay 16-10-2012 12:19 PM

Yeah I always wanted to see Tony and Cook in a scene together :(

C4 have announced Skins will bow out after the seventh series, to be aired next spring. But an insider held out hope the show could still return elsewhere. The source said: “If it does well it might come back, maybe not on E4 but on some other platform.”
dafuq?:conf:

Jordan. 16-10-2012 12:36 PM

Expected more to return but we have EFFY so all is forgiven.

smeagol 16-10-2012 01:56 PM

skins went downhill suprised they doing another. last few were crap

Roy Mars III 16-10-2012 02:31 PM

No Tony meh

Jordan. 16-10-2012 02:38 PM

Am I the only one not bothered about Tony? :suspect:

Would rather have had Sid or Anwar return.

InOne 16-10-2012 02:42 PM

Tony wasn't that great, he's still the little kid from About A Boy in my eyes.
