Rylan Clark 'wants to be a brand like Katie Price'
 

X Factor’s Rylan Clark has said he wants to become a ‘brand’ like Katie Price.


Dropping the pretense that he’s on the show to sing, Rylan confessed he just wanted to be famous.

Speaking to Digital Spy, the 23-year-old said: “At the end of the day I don’t want a normal job. I think I’d love to be a brand.

“I’d love to be a household name and I think I’ve achieved that already… I can sing, I can dance, there’s a lot more to me as well, like I love fashion. I’d love to have my own stuff.”

Rylan admitted he would love to emulate his celebrity pal Katie Price, who has been supporting him throughout the show.

He told the website: “[Katie and I], we’re actually quite similar people and look what’s happened, we’re getting quite similar press.

“I’d love to have an ounce of success that she’s had… anyone in their right mind that says, ‘I wouldn’t like to have the same career as Katie Price’, I would think they’re ******ing lying.”

But it seems that the pressure of a celebrity lifestyle is getting to Rylan, who admitted this morning that he hate was getting “too much”.

He tweeted: “The press need to stop writing lies now, it was all harmless fun at first but this Is too much now.”

Good Lord!!!! This tw*t takes himself far too seriously. He should go look for a job down his local supermarket instead of going for the fame game.

He can sing and dance about as well as I can but thing is I know I dont have enough talent to make a living out of it but somehow this tw*t seems to think he can make a career out of this. That is why we should get rid of the joke acts on XF cuz they might turn into monsters like this.

He knows he's not the best singer in the world, so he's trying to get fame some other way, yes he probably is a fame-*****, but whatever, he's earning money and getting himself known in the public eye.

Most of us would jump at the chance, I would.

But yeah, nothing Rylan says will likely turn me against him, so I'm biased.

I just love when people slate Rylan, yet love Frankie Cocozza.

Who actually didn't hold a tune throughout his experience and was a massive knob, Rylan got drunk and is a bit camp yet genuinely likeable and people act as if he's murdered their parents. :idc:

The people slating Frankie are just as guilty as the Rylan ones if you're gonna put that into it tbh. You can't exactly call Rylan a modest talented little angel. He's arrogant, dislikeable and quite frankly as entertaining as a log.

Frankie was far more likeable, he wasn't some tanned up baffon who looked like he was a male version of a barbie. And that pathetic crying? Please.

Not really, Frankie was very dislikeable because he was a dick and didn't take the show seriously. ARROGANT? What? how on earth has he been arrogant? LMAO, he has stated numerous times he has no chance of doing well in the competition and that he's doing it because he just wants to entertain people and have a singing career. He's a bit annoying so I can see why people wouldn't like him for that but he's not overly dislikeable like a few acts I could mention this series. Whatever.

I haven't even got a dignified response for this.

Frankie didn't have to rely on gimmicking himself up to be "entertaining" either...he wasn't meant to be a deliberate contrived joke act which is what made him ever better

WTF, HE WAS A GIMMICK... 'I will party and shag for 4 days in the week and then perform on Saturday out of tune' he relied on being a massive unlike-able knob-head to get him through the show.

No, the fact that you think that somebody's appearance is a reason for hatred, is quite frankly a joke.... and the fact he's got emotional, half of the ****ing contestants have cried on the show :bored:
