So, do we think Rylan will stick to his promise?
 

He said if he stayed this week he would sing normally next week. No frills or anything...do we think he will?

I think if he does this he will be bottom 2 for sure...as his fans dont want that, they want his OTT performances.

He knows full well he's gone if he does. He needs to just keep going until people get bored. I'm hoping 5th.

Well I think he sings ballads better than uptempos anyway so I would be interested to see a ballad from him so I hope so as a hater of his.

Nope he'll be singing a medley of 3 different novelty songs as per every week

He can sing. I quite like his voice. But he needs more coaching.

When he started his performance a few weeks back with a tiny bit of a TT song he sounded quite decent actually.

Hope not. The great thing about him is he is offering somethign different than the other boring contestants. Last thing he should do is join them.

I want him to do it just to prove that he can sing. He may not have the best voice, but not all artists are great singers. :hugesmile:

He can stand still and sing when he's next in the bottom two; he needs to be outrageously camp to keep him afloat.

I think he will keep his promise and as vicky says he will unfortunatly be in the bottom 2 then he will go and people wont have anyone to actually moan/talk about

Yes, and then Gary will praise his and it will complete his storey arc. Week after he's in the bottom 2 and dropped like a stone.

You can see Gary's been reading from the script of Simon Cowell. Slate the joke act and look like the bad guy so that they pick up votes and make it through the first few weeks, and then finally "come around" to them, praise them and that week they get voted off. It happens every single year; the joke act pretty much separates the forgettable from the potential stars (or what X Factor bosses see as potential stars) - Rylan's gonna last for another couple of weeks I think; there are still one or two boring acts that are surely hovering just above the bottom two every week.

It will be like the Johnny Robinson scenario played out last year... Gary was all negative and like YOU ARE NOVELTY... he did serious and Gary finally gave him positive feed-back and he stayed... then went back to novelty the week later, Gary gave it a negative reaction and he left.

Will be the same for Rylan.

I think he will and I also think he will do pretty good at it too, he sang with no frills at judges house stage and was good then too.
