how seriously do you take this forum?
 

How do seriously do you take this forum when members answer you in a sarcastic manner or are a bit rude to you?

I just enjoy the banter and never take things to heart and hope others dont get offended by anything i say......

depends on what is said and the way its said. but overall not many people say anything nasty to me anyway.

I used to take it too seriously

but now I look at all the try hards and just ignore them

No-one is mean to me

I'm not likely going to meet any of you, so if I get insulted I'm just like whatevz.

Whereas if people at College were forever insulting me I take it more to heart.

I try and piss around and banter as much as possible, sometimes I have to be harsh (being a mod) although i prefer having a laugh.

People being horrible to me really bothered me to begin with, IDK why. But after a while you get used to it, especially being a mod. You kinda expect a certain level of abuse :tongue:

So seriously I cry myself to sleep for days at any negative criticism

Can i just say, you seem like a really likeable bloke...... i agree with your posr and im the same obviously just not a mod

When I first joined I took everything being said on here seriously, now I just laugh it all off and afterall the things I say I would come across very hypocritical if I was offended at what people say about me, although I don't like anyone saying anything about members that I like though as I do get very defensive.

With on-season I tend to end up in arguments more. If someone dislikes a HM I like I take it as a personal insult.

I respect others opinions but will take a stand if my integrity is questioned and if someone deliberately attempts to wind me up as to personal issues.
Very few are like that though but I will stand up for myself as diplomatically and constructively as I can when it occurs.

Apart from those issues and instances,it is amazing what I have learned and how much I have thought again on many things from reading others opinions so I guess I would be someone that takes a fair bit seriously on here.

I've never taken the insults/jokes or anything personally.

I've never got really offended by anything, I've got pissed off when someone is intentionally trying to get personal because we disagreed over something trivial. lol

But other than that I prefer the jokes/banter. :D

I ignore the people who banter, hand out the jokes and then get all serious when you give it back and report you. :rolleyes:

It is easy to get drawn into the forum and it starts to feel like it's an actual real life situation, then I take a seat back and have a couple of hours off then it becomes alright again

I normally don't give a **** and I'm up for a laugh/joke some people do take things too far sometimes though.

I dont take things serious in real life and its the same here
