could they do an all star x factor?

Just wondered if itv could do an all star version of x factor with stars that have won or been succesfull from the show such as

Leona lewis
Leon jackson
Alexandra burk
Jls
One direction
Little mix
Olly murs
Shane ward
G4 (reunited)
Jedward
Rylan
Matt cardle
Misha b
Cher loyd

The judges could be
Cheryl cole
Simon cowell
Louus walsh
Sharon osbourne
And one of tulisa, gary barlow, danni minogue, nicole
The catogories could be .
Boys gary/tulisa/danni/nicole
Girls cheryl/simon
Overs (maybe 28)- sharon
Groups-louis
Winners simon cowell/cheryl

They could find the best of the best

This would boost ratings and the show could go out on a high

What do you think?

Just bring back all the people who were robbed

Marcus. 05-11-2012 09:36 PM

Saph 05-11-2012 09:46 PM

bring back the animal woman from the first series who kept growling :D

I'd quite like them to give World X Factor a try. An event like Eurovision. They tried it with World Idol but I don't remember it.

These would probably feauture:

Groups:
Little Mix
One Direction

Wagner
Kitty Brucknell
Olly Murs
Ruth Lorenzo

Very latest series heavy. Boys and Over's are weak

Gstar 05-11-2012 10:22 PM

I was thinking the same thing, they should bring back all the great/memorable acts that didn't win from series 1 to now. I would definitely watch it if they did this.

Marsh. 05-11-2012 10:23 PM

But what would be the point? Most of the good ones have record deals already.

All them for me too Mockinator, actually you have compiled a good list of varied and talented acts who all brought a great deal of entertainment quality and talent to X Factor, it's a very impressive list.

Thanks Joey, I think the winner would be either Amelia, Journey South, or Laura from my list.

And from Apple's predicted list I think Leona or JLS would win.

they could do it for bragging rights and raise money for charity.

In the US, there's an All Star Strictly Come Dancing (BEcause we do it Twice a year) 6 of the 14 entries are winners 3 have been eliminated and everyone left are previous finalists.

Ever since an All Star season has been announced here in the US for SCD a small amount of people have been calling for an AllStar American Idol.

She's made the Top 12. But during the PreLiveShows she's been edited to be a bit a of a bitch when she's actually oozing with confidence. I think she'll be the US Katie Wassell.

Petershaw1984 06-11-2012 10:27 AM

It would be brilliant..... a charity one with profits going to itv text santa apeal..... the rstings would top 13 million

GiRTh 06-11-2012 10:54 AM

Stupid idea. Why would they do it? Pointless.

Why is it a stupid idea????? Remember world idol? Similar premise. For charity of course mr girth

Stevep 06-11-2012 01:05 PM

Good idea but i doubt it would work. They are all well established 'artists' now and they wouldn't want to risk their reputation by being judged in that fashion anymore.

A celebrity X-Factor could be interesting though. I never watched the celebrity Pop Idol/popstars/x factor or whatever it was called back then, the one with chris moyles etc, but would be interested in seeing one now.

That's ashame, at least she won't hit a bottom two out of 16 though.:joker:

I don't know about an All Star X-Factor because I think that's very cheesy and camp, but I think it would be quite cool to have a live Saturday night special starring successful X Factor acts who have gone on to have sustainable careers beyond the show. Shayne Ward, Leona Lewis, Alexandra Burke, JLS, Diana Vickers, Olly Murs, Jedward, Matt Cardle (arguable), Rebecca Ferguson, One Direction, Cher Lloyd, Aiden Grimshaw (arguable), Little Mix, Amelia Lily and whoever wins this series. Also potentially get Parade and Girls Can't Catch (think they've disbanded though) in there because of Emily & Phoebe from Hope being in those respective groups.

Anyway, say a line up of Shayne, Leona, Alexandra, JLS, Diana, Olly, Jedward, Rebecca, One Direction, Cher, Little Mix and Amelia - 12 acts with a variety of hits among them, I'm sure it would do well because made for TV music specials usually do. They could have skits in between performances etc, a bit like the Spice Girls or Girls Aloud shows with the same concept. I'd definitely watch.

She did technically. The mentor saved two acts then the other two acts in a catergory sang off for the last spot and she was in it against a black country singer that couldn't find a identity.
