pointless training
 

Ive had to come to leeds to do some pointless training.
Moving and handling
Health and safety
Infection control

All pointless and only refresher courses that tell me stuff i already know. Got 2 days of this crap.

Do you have any pointless training you have to do?

Fed up

..yeah, endless amounts of it...everything has to be updated every few years....it's all cool, you get a free lunch and a day out...and if you take a seat at the back, you can have an afternoon snooze as well.....

Not training but walking group where we walk around the park for no reason and this is for health and fitness and to chat to other people oh and that dose get bad when you done it for 12 weeks

..I imagine you get a bit tired if you've been walking for 12 weeks Marcus...I hope you get a coffee break...

I for an hour and 10 mind and no we dont

a few years ago i was working as a cleaner fair enough i did a couple of nvqs in cleaning but then they made me to an nvq in customer care! ffs i was a cleaner. i have still to this day have no idea why?

I watch Pointless every day if that counts

..yes that counts Shaun..so long as you're taking it seriously, it's definately a type of training....

God its so boring....... ive also got a cold coming on and the person who is taking the training is someone i trained up 2 years ago

I do think there's one thing more dreadful than pointless training... pointless training that involves role play. It's so toe-curlingly cringeworthy it's hard to express it. I have sworn I will never, ever take part.

..LOL..how right you are....unfortunately I can't avoid it but it's my worst nightmare...and it's always with people you have never ever met in your life before...

I will feign a fit if I am ever expected to do it again. Or I'll have a full-on diva-style breakdown. And no one wants that.

Tomorrow im with a couple of "co workers" who are realky not nice people and it is role play day. Fed up

oh don't worry it soon be over

..I did actually faint once.. but that was just a first aid course and I can't stand the sight of blood...
