Two lovers were removed from a public bus after they were caught having sex.

The unidentified couple were travelling on a Gothenburg bus in western Sweden at the time.

The bus driver, upon discovering the pair, called authorities just after 6am on November 4.

Police spokesman Stefan Gustavsson told local newspaper Göteborgs Posten: "The driver called the police. It wasn't enough to tell them off.

"The driver was bothered by what was going on, and I guess the other passengers were also bothered."

Police interrupted the couple as they were having sex. After they were kicked off the bus, the lovers called for a taxi.
