Recommend me some books...
Cult classics would probably be more suited to me, I loved the likes of On the Road, The Catcher in the Rye, Catch-22, Brave New World etc.
I just don't have anything else to thumb through atm besides uni work, and those are mostly of the poetry/Shakespearean variety which, whilst important, aren't terribly interesting. |
I haven't really read many cult classics myself, but I thought these books were pretty damn good:
-His Dark Materials - It's a series of three books. They're all excellent. If you haven't already read them and enjoy fantasy (with a sort of sci-fi twist) then you should definitely consider it. -Uglies - It's a series of books set in a world where everyone is given an operation at 16 to make them 'pretty'. It's a good read. -Delirium - I've only started reading this but I really like it already. It's about a world where love is treated as a disease. |
The Lorien Legacies are worth a read. Its the I Am Number Four series.

It's written in perfect English, it's from the nineteenth century not the ninth
|
How much of Frankenstein can you want to no more about?
You know the scientist brings him to life. Its pointless reading a book you already know the outcome of  |
