Forbrydelsen (The Killing) series 3, Saturdays BBC4 @ 9pm

Starts tonight :D

Quote:

Denmark is the midst of a fiercely contested election race, set against the backdrop of the financial crisis. With ten days to go to the election, Detective Chief Inspector Sarah Lund prepares to celebrate her 25th year in the police force and looks forward to the prospect of a new job in the force. But her relative peace is shattered when body parts are found at Copenhagen dock only hours before a scheduled visit by the prime minister.

This series is so much better than the last already. I feel like they're tapping into what made the first series so great.

Also Mark's still an outrageous ****.

I had a horrible feeling that it'll be Mark that turns out to be the killer but that would be the most ridiculous, unrealistic twist the show's ever taken, and that's taking into account the "IT WAS HER COLLEAGUE HURDUR" twist from last series :idc:

It's just the way Sarah's mum said "he'll speak with you when he's ready"... seemed a bit ominous. But then obviously seeing him at the train station with a pregnant woman kinda scuppers that theory.

this series is so perfect I cannot

I was worried the parents of the missing girl would turn out to be unlikeable douchebags after their performances in the first 4 episodes, but episode 5 and 6  they're no Theis and Pernille, but I'm loving it a lot more now it's more emotional

those two episodes

i'm getting a bit tired of all the prime ministerial "oh we used your car BUT DID WE no it was the prime minister OR WAS IT HIS SON no it was his secretary or WAS IT THE ZEELAND BUTLER" nonsense but I'm so glad it was all concluded in dramatic fashion just then...

Tom4784 15-12-2012 06:07 PM

I'm fully caught up now, this series is amazing. I hope that Karen isn't involved in anything since she's too fierce to be guilty but I have a feeling she helped Reinhart cover up Louise's death and that's what Kamper's son saw. I still think Stoffer's involved somehow though.

But yes Robert and Maja are amazing, the problem with Season 2 was that there was only really one character I felt invested in and it just lacked the emotion of the first series but they've rectified it this time around. I might have to commandeer the TV tonight since I am not waiting until tomorrow for the last two episodes :hmph:
