Task: Training Day

Task: Training Day

Wednesday 19 July

Day 63, 14:04

Living on basic rations has driven the housemates to the edge this week. They've resorted to hiding food, smoking the garden grass, and even considered eating each other.

But now they have the chance to refill the cupboards with this week's two-day shopping task.

Today housemates are required to create their own training sessions ahead of tomorrow's shopping task. They have to base their training on strength and endurance, speed and balance, and skill and co-ordination.

Housemates must appoint one person to be the leader of each training program, who will have half an hour devise to an exercise plan lasting 30 minutes. Should housemates complete each training program, they will be granted access to the swimming pool.

The task continues tomorrow.

Work it housemates, work it.

not said on the BB site but someone watching live might no

I'd like to see the leader for the training day be Richard or Suzie.

Mike 19-07-2006 04:01 PM

It will probably be Mikey or Richard, when it comes to leadership their both pretty good.

BigSister 19-07-2006 04:02 PM

Im guessing probably Richard
Sounds a good task:thumbs:

GlitterEyes 19-07-2006 04:03 PM

Anyone think this is rather a harsh task considering the heat? I do..

Foebane100 19-07-2006 04:03 PM

I want BB to pick so someone who isn't a natural leader has to step up and do it like Suzie or Imogen.

I said Richard cause I thought it might cause some bickering.

xGemmax 19-07-2006 04:03 PM

haha they will be working very hard for this! I think it would be SO good if Big Brother gave them food and the pool back - but said Jayne still had to live on the rations and shes not allowed to use the pool! That would be hilarious and teach her a lesson to keep her big mouth shut!

GlitterEyes 19-07-2006 04:04 PM

Lol id love to see Imogen trying to cope...now that would be funny.

Foebane100 19-07-2006 04:08 PM

I wonder if this is what the prison is for and it will be like the rich and poor side from BB3 with those that fail going there and those that pass being rewarded with water.

What ever happened to the old team building tasks.

SiMoN! 19-07-2006 04:09 PM

Everything rides on this week's shopping task. The housemates haven't eaten anything tasty for days and with depleted energy levels, Big Brother is now working their butts to the bone.

Using a gym-load of equipment, including hula hoops, boxing gloves and pads, medicine balls and skipping ropes, the housemates must devise a training programme to test their skills, strength and endurance.

But before getting busy they had to elect three leaders - which felt like a task in itself. It even took them five minutes to understand the requirements of the task. The lack of food must be playing with their brains as well as their bellies.

"I'll be one," said Aisleyne.

"I can be a leader, I can lead," said Richard, registering some early interest.

"I'd like to lead," said Imogen meekly from the sofa.

But Susie wasn't so keen saying: "I don't want to be a leader. I'm not sporty in anyway."

"I'll be a leader if no one else does," ventured Pete.

After more to-ing and fro-ing, Pete and Mikey were elected - Pete was in charge of the co-ordination training session, Mikey headed up strength and endurance.

"Does anyone else want to be leader?" asked Spiral, grabbing a mat off the table to toss for it.

"Aisleyne does. You do it instead of me," said Imogen.

"No I can't be arsed," she replied.

After a quick flip, Aisleyne was the final leader, having to construct a session for speed and balance.

If it took them this long to get organised, what are they gonna be like on the task?

sorry to keep copying off the BB site

Foebane100 19-07-2006 04:11 PM

I think they will pass though it will look like a dodgy pass unless they aim to split the house. The punishments were unfair and they are not doing anything for the show.

haha i look forward to watching this:laugh:
