Christopher accused of violent bully past...
 

Apparently Chris was fired from 2 jobs for abusive behaviour towards female colleagues. (Sunday Mirror.)

It is reported he tried to strangle a cabaret singer when they worked together on a cruise ship. His co star said "Chris flipped and his eyes were burning red. I screamed as he grabbed me around the throat"
He was also fired from a debt collection firm after being accused of lunging across a desk at a female manager. "Chris was dismissed for serious misconduct."
Another ex - workmate said: "That isn't the real Maloney you see on TV, he's got a temper on him. I'm surprised people haven't seen through him. If someone said something he didn't like, you could see it in his eyes".

Oh come on...:hugesmile: If there was no truth to the allegations, he wouldn't have simply 'denied them' - he would have said he was suing their asses for defamation of character. But he didn't.
Everything points to Chris not being a very nice person. The judges don't like him (even Gary, who just says you have to stick by your act and shows no warmth or real belief towards him whatsoever). Not one other contestant shows any affection or friendship with him. I noticed when he was saved last week and went to hug some of the Union J boys they could barely reciprocate - as if they were repulsed.
I did feel sorry for him with the judges comments but they obviously really REALLY don't like him - and there has to be a good reason for that. Never before has such dislike been directed at one person from every judge (and it's a nightmare for poor Gary who has to stand by his act - but it's obvious that even he is struggling).

Proper proof or this is a load of rubbish set up to taint his reputation heading into the semi finals

So tell me why they would even bother going to these lengths...bribing people to tell outright lies...paying former employers to say they fired him when they didn't...feeding blatant untruths to a newspaper etc - and risk being sued or disgraced?
Do you really think the Cowell machine is that dumb?

There has to be something in it. Never before has there been a 'witch hunt' and there is no reason for it to be one now. The guy has a really good voice, and if the public vote for him, then they would buy his recordings. It doesn't add up that it's simply a 'witch hunt'.
All signs point to him not being a nice person. The producers don't like him, the judges don't like him and even James has been quoted as calling him a diva. There is no affection or warmth between him and the other contestants.
It's obvious Caroline and Olly haven't much time for him. Even Gary gives lip service without any real belief or warmth towards him.
It's all there to see in front of our eyes. I have to admit I do feel a bit sorry for him, but if everyone who is working closely with him doesn't like him and can't hide it, then the little bit of sympathy I have for him is probably misguided. I don't like anyone being picked on, ever, but in this case I feel there is something in it and that maybe we don't even know the extent of the probably valid reasons for the dislike for him....

It's very unfair that this is discarded as tabloid rubbish, when jahmene had accusations made against him every word was gobbled up as gospel......

Chris is good, but only in a joe mac'eldrey way. Can see him in the west end, but thats it.

Eurgh people will never believe this even if it is true, people seem to like him on here for no apparent reason and think hes some LAD for being the people's choice
he cannot sing (well he can to a sub-par standard), and i read stories of him being a thug in the bootcamp stages, so its not just surfaced now.

To be honest I usually dismiss **** like this, but even people on the show say he is a prick.. and would a woman who knows him personally really make **** like this up, I know plenty do but she wouldnt risk losing a job I presume.

The Mirror just won't let the hatred for him go will they?
