Honest Reason Why BB Is Boring this year
 

I think the reason why Big Brother 7 is boring is because. Like last year Big Brother has chosen housemates who have been involved with publicity before entering the house. They have chosen people who were involved in something like magazines, promotions, tv, media, being an extra etc. Last year they did it with 2 people ie saskia and Makosi.
This year they did it with virtually all the housemates.
Nikki was an extra on eastenders and did her model stuff
Imogen did that modelling stuff as well
So did Ashleyne and the majority of the housemates.
Its not a matter of tasks. Its because throughout the 5 years of bb the housemates were just normal people put in a house. Now big brother is putting people who have plastic surgery, been on tv and documentarys, models, promotions etc! There arent any more ordinary nobodys entering. And to prove my point have you noticed how its always the people who were nobodys before entering that win! Obviously this year bb wanted 2 make this series top rated by putting in fakes, actors. No wonder they can guess all the twists. Had this have been normal people they wouldnt guess. Big Brother has also been editing huge chunks from this series that we would brand as funny. BB isnt getting old and i dont think it should be cancelled.

I think the producers have realised where theyve gone wrong and am sure next year if bb is given a chance the housemates will be ordinary nobodys!

BB should also make the show shorter and shorten series

This year hasnt been boring
Its a bit duller now Nikkis left
But its still not boring

Old media housemates means nothing.
They are people aswell

I agree with the people being too 'famous' but if they have a good personality then who cares? Imogen and Mikey can easily be considered 'nobodies' actually.

Well its not boring i wouldnt watch it it was lol:laugh:...its very entertaining this year..although i have to admit still the best year EVER was bb6...

BB5+BB6= Best Big Brother's.

This year is probably one of my faves because of Grace and Nikki

BB2 and BB3 and bb5 and bb6

I think Big Brother has failed to be spontaineous (:s) and exciting this year. Its messed up all its secrets and its become predictable. There are no comedians...there are people that make you laugh like Jane with her stupidity or Nikki with her whining (for some) but there's no practical jokers...no real relationships....no real rivalry. Also after Sezer went there was no real alpha male. I wanna see some real heated arguements.

I also think BB becomes better when 2 groups form (like at the beginning). Now everybody is all together and its become so slow and boring.

Sezar wasn't that fit anyway imo, the eye candy for the girls this year has been awful.

it's the producers that have made this year crap, they had brilliant characters but let them get kicked out in ways they could of avoided with normal nominations. (Grace and Nikki) and the suitcase thing at the start was attrocious, it got rid of Dawn, who had the potential to be great in my eyes. Even if she was a cheater, no-one would have known :tongue:

A lot of the housemates this year (if not all of them) have clearly been avid viewers of the previous Big Bros. Thats not a bad thing but it does mean that they are much more aware of how the game works, how the public vote, how they are portrayed and what to expect from Big Bro.

It means they are a lot more careful about what they say and do. That pathetic argument over the rat was one example. IMO, some of the housemates (Richard in particular) thought the public would like them more if they showed how concerned they were over the rat's safety. :sleep:

A lot of them are very careful not to say anything too outrageous or controversial, (although equally some of them lack the intellectual capacity to actually hold a contentious opinion on any relevant issues.)

This is why people like Nikki (as much as I hated her) should have stayed. It's also why Jayne should stay and housemates like Richard and Susie should really be the big contenders for eviction.

it's very entertaining. it's a tv show, so people who want to be on tv or in the wider media are naturally drawn to it.

Sorry hated nearly all the people from both those if BB had continued to use the same type of people I'd have switched off.

Well,I think that Reeko has got it about right.I am convinced that the blueprint for BB7 was drawn up with Chantelle still fresh in the producers head.

A good looking but stupid half baked media wannabe.If she had not won the celeb version we might have had an entirely different house,but they saw her victory as a ratings success and chose from there.

I hope BB7 is not the last ,at its best the show is rivetting viewing but at its worst ,as it has often been this year ,it is unessential,boring and embarrassing to all concerned.

I cannot beleive people thought the rat shouldnt have been killed. In London there is 10 rats to every human. We need to start killing these little furballs guys!
