Bruce Jones and Wendi Peters Set For House
 

'Corrie stars Bruce Jones and Wendi Peters have been linked to Celebrity Big Brother 2013.

The pair are perhaps better known as their characters Les and Cilla Battersby in the ITV1 soap.

The acting duo both quit the soap back in 2007, but CBB bosses are hoping to reunite them in the Celeb Big Bro host.

The Daily Mirror report this morning that producers have bothed both Bruce and Wendi “big money deals” to take part in the new series next month.

Apparently Channel 5 chiefs are convinced the duo will be a draw for viewers.

A TV source told the newspaper this morning: “If they sign up, it will be a real coup as there are at least 10 million Corrie fanatics out there who will immediately be interested in watching.”

Other stars rumoured to be taking part in next year’s show include Katie Price, ‘Bat Out Of Hell’ singer Meat Loaf and former MP John Prescott.

Recently axed X Factor contestant Rylan Clark has also been linked to the upcoming series, although he is committed to the talent contest’s live tour, which begins at the end of January.

I can't stand him but if they give Bruce some alcohol he could be train wreck watching. I saw him in a pub after he left corrie, he was hammered, loud and obnoxious.

I met him once, when he was in the prime of his career, his wife was a miserable old bat.

Hardly corrie rejects. They were stars of it for a least 5 possibly 10years in Bruce's case.
