WTF Debenhams?

Right so, we're all in the midst of our Christmas shopping and I thought today I made massive progress, buying loads of gifts for everybody and I thought I had gotten to the point where I was pretty much sorted. Surely I can relax and just sit back, right?

Wrong.

I'm buying my sister this cooking dish for Christmas...I had originally bought one and they delivered it to my home a couple weeks back, but it was broken and the wrapping they had put it in was ridiculous, it was just a box, no padding etc. which meant that the dish was in pieces, so I thought this time I'd buy it online and get it delivered into store, where I can pick it up. So I went and collected it today, got home and unwrapped it.

It was supposed to be this;

Nice?

Well this is what they gave me....

Erm.. wtf?! I don't know whether to laugh or be annoyed... That's twice Debenhams has messed up :bored:

Anybody else had some disaster delivery problems?

Niamh. 13-12-2012 01:48 PM

OMG :laugh2: What even is it? It looks like a Porcelain Balloon Dog. You should give her that tbh

Oh poor sweet marc... when a woman says 'I want oven dishes for christmas' she doesn't actually MEAN she wants oven dishes for christmas.... :joker:

My sister is 25.. going on 56

Suze 13-12-2012 02:42 PM

Complain enough, after all they are completely at fault, not you, they will have to send out the original order and may also let you keep the dog, that way your sister gets two gifts for the price of one :) If she doesn't like the dog, I will have it :D

Tom4784 13-12-2012 02:47 PM

Give her the dog, It's a far superior present.

Jesus. 13-12-2012 02:48 PM

Looks like it could be from Scott's bedroom.

AnnieK 13-12-2012 02:51 PM

That is hilarious.....whatever that dog is, I want one.

I would complain. Tell them u had to wait in for it to be delivered in the first place. Then you had to giro the inconvenience of going to the store this time. I'm sure they will give you some form of compensation (once they have stopped laughing).

Black Dagger 13-12-2012 03:01 PM

OH LOL

What a perfect gift <3
