take aways changing names
 

Why do they do this? Is it an insurance scam or simply just new management take over?

I only ask cos a takeaway near me has been in the last 4 years called

Alnawab
Akhbas
Pizza island
Apna curry
Lahori corner
Eat treat
Planet spice.

I dont eat here so cant say its any good or bad.

they think is would bring more customer

A local takeaway changed it's name here because the previous name was known for killing a girl and putting her in the food, lovely.

There's a cafe near me called the Wanger and Snatch, they don't actually know what it could mean and they still haven't changed it

I am, I've never gone near the place, even with a new name and owner, I still wouldnt go there :joker:

A Chinese restaurant/takeaway near us was closed down for serving dog, because somebody found a dog tag in their food.. D:

Then it was re-opened... Under new management.. Which I think is just the original owners' cousin or something :laugh:
