Have you ever met/seen a celebrity up close?
Anyone?
I've seen Wayne Sleep in Paddington and tennis players at tennis tournaments, including one walking outside some of the courts. I've also met Roberto from BB6  Best story wins a special prize. |
I've had a curry with Neve Campbell in Birmingham, and I had dinner with Val Kilmer in London, as one of my brothers best friends is an English actor
Not me, personally. I was just a hanger on, but I think I saw part of my arm in the local Birmingham paper "the evening mail". Val Kilmer is ****ing nuts. He insisted his driver took us home, and he walked about 10 miles across London at about 1am. He was ****ed out of his tree. |
Bet I met the most famous celeb. Princess Diana.:pipe:
She was doing a grip and grin at Nottingham playhouse in 1989. I was one of the people she shook hands with. She was very tall and very beautiful. |
Some strong contenders here.. keep them coming

No story. No win.

I met Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson. They came and shook my hand. Owen was getting pissed off with the people who were taking pics with their phone! :joker:

I've met Toyah Battersby, Andy Sugden, Bill Tarmy (legend) and various other Corrie/ Emmerdale people out in Manchester. I work in recruitment and a few of them have worked for me over the years too - Catherine Tyldesley, Rob James Collier and Rebecca Atkinson (Shameless).
My dad used to be a Recreation Officer for BT and he used to organise a family fun day every year and they always had Its a Knockout with Stuart Hall - eek... He also used to work with Paul McGuigan (original Oasis Bassist).... My brother is very good friends with Chesney Hawkes and Rob Green too.... |
I worked in a pub in London that was across the way from the LWT TV studios and I served Ant and Dec, Suggs and Nick Hancock. Ant and Dec left their pints and walked out in a strop when my boss refused to turn on some soccer match for them

The most famous people I've met would have to be the Queen, Bill Clinton and Barack Obama. Luckily, none of them recognised me. |
