Ladies and gentlemen, when are you taking your decorations down?

I want to do it now, as Christmas is over but you have to stupidly wait ages

It's a bit like Christmas films being on TV..after Christmas. Why

Doogle 27-12-2012 09:57 PM

Start of 2013 because it's still Christmassy until New Year for me. The day is over but the food and spirit and presents are all there so it's just extended Christmas.

Marcus. 27-12-2012 09:58 PM

well we got another x mas on the fist so the 7th

Maia 27-12-2012 09:59 PM

Always leave it til the 6th of January, 12 days of Christmas and whatnot

Don't see the end of Christmas as after the day is over, quite like still seeing Christmassy things around

MTVN 27-12-2012 09:59 PM

After the 12th day

Mrluvaluva 27-12-2012 10:01 PM

They have to come down on the 5th. Christmas day is the first day of Christmas and they come down on twelth night. :idc:

Redway 27-12-2012 10:07 PM

Probably take 'em down after the New Year tbh, maybe after my birthday (the day after).

King Gizzard 27-12-2012 10:08 PM

We do it on the 1st, new year and all that

Redway 27-12-2012 10:10 PM

Yeah, that's when it all ends really and then suddenly it's back to college LOL.

I don't get why people keep them up for so long though. We have a neigbhour on our street who keeps them up year-round D:

End of January, my mother likes to keep the decorations up as long as possible.

Cherie 28-12-2012 10:50 PM

Rush rush rush, why not buy your Easter Eggs and be done with it Nathan. Not back to work until the 8th Jan, that's soon enough for the festivities to end. Just relax and enjoy.

Jack_ 28-12-2012 11:05 PM

6th usually. It's the most depressing day of the year, I'd keep them up longer if it were up to me.
