I would like to see Petula Clark made a Dame, it is long overdue in my opinion and she warrants it in my view,certainly just as much, if not more so than Shirley Bassey.

Helen Worth, Gail in Corrie. I'm not her biggest fan as an actress, but she's a lovely woman who does a massive amount of charity work and doesn't highlight it in the press much.

80 years old, 70 years in Show Business, a Film star, radio and TV star, hitmaker all over the World, a songwriter, broadway and West End star.
Someone who has done loads for various charities but never shouts about it. Married for over 50 years, no major scandals and still recording and touring performing live.

Few people in my vew warrant a further recognition of their talents than Petula,especially when you see who they give them to.
She has been and remains, a great Ambassador for Britain in the field of showbusiness certainly.
