Don't get me wrong, i'm a massive Nicki fan and saw her twice this year. But all her pop **** needs to die.
The Re-Up has restored my faith, but doubt she'll ever reach the highs of Playtime Is Over and Beam Me Up Scotty again. :/

Don't know why people are laughing at the king of female rap statement, there's no one else anywhere near as big as her in female rap at the moment

Doesn't mean she's any good, she's hardly rap either, she's watered down pop more then anything.

Apple202 29-12-2012 07:12 PM

She's still far away the most popular female rapper right now, whether you think she's good or not

Saph 29-12-2012 07:17 PM

She came onto the scene at the right time, there's not been any big female rappers since the early 00s

Im not gonna lie when roman reloaded first came out I skipped all the pop(around then i dint listen to any pop) now I love it va va Voom is even my favourite off the album. I think she was just experimenting with sounds, when the pink print drops it will be perfect I think.
Anyways she's always been evolving even in her mixtape days non of the mixtapes sound the same.

10/19 songs on her last album were rap, 4 of them were pop/dance songs that had a rap in them, 2 were pop, 2 were ballads and 1 was reggae, the deluxe edition contain 2 songs she raps in plus she rereleased the album with 7 new rap songs and all her features this year she raps... It's just because her pop music is more exposed because you know it's pop...

I miss her style from Barbie World and Beam Me Up Scotty...

Exactly when nicki first came out the only raper they could compair her to was lil Kim who was last active during the Tudor era.

Weather you like her or not she has opened doors for new female rappers because none had cared for females in years...

It's the fact she isn't anything to do with rap. YMCMB are a pop group more than anything. I don't even hate her, she's doing her thing. It's the radio stations and award shows labelling her as Hip Hop and the fact she wins hip hop awards which annoys me.

I kinda miss her barbie flow to it was really silly, but it was unique.

armand.kay 30-12-2012 03:12 AM

And I can't wait for roman to **** off and die :/

So a album with 2chainsz nas, Cam'ron, rick Ross, young Jeezy, drake and lil Wayne on it has nothing to do with hip hop ok...

reece(: 30-12-2012 03:20 AM

The only other female rappers in the game right now are Iggy and Azealia and both have flopped so far, so props to Nicki- even though Lil Wayne has been fundamental in her success. Don't even think the likes of Trina, Kim, Eve and Missy could get another hit lately.
