It's name is Sky City and is planned to be constructed in the Chinese city of Changsha.

Oh, and construction apparently starts this month...and will be done by March :shocked:

yea asian construction is so fast its crazy. They started building and finished a whole huge modern house on my road in less than 3 weeks.

..It looks a bit like a thunderbird aircraft...you wouldn't get me past about the fourth floor...

It's crazy how quick they go up in China. Though, it will only be the tallest for a year or so, Kingdom Tower in Jeddah will start construction soon, and is planned to be 1km high.

I've heard of this before I think! I vaguely remember Gizmodo doing an article on a skyscraper being built this quickly. They mentioned another building that the same company built even faster -finds-.
