No Love For BB4

Got to say its one of my fav's. Yes, not a lot of tension compared to the rest of the BB's before it and after it but i kinda liked it for tha fact that they all got along and never really bitched too much. Ray and Scott were great especially during LF as they sat up all night talking about any old stuff, Fred and Jon were great Hm's sadly lost to early. It did have the boring HM's Cameron (nice man but he didn't really do much), Gos (the most boring HM ever) Steph and Nush who all probably stayed to long.

The Biggest downfall i feel was losing Anouska far far to early. I feel she could have bought a little spice to show and could have had the guys falling over themselfs and had some of the girls getting jealous. I think its one of the top 5 mistakes having that eviction even BB producers knew they screwed up.I don't think se would have stayed that longer but she could have given the show a few great moments.

Anyway anybody fans of BB4?

Marcus. 01-01-2013 10:02 PM

bb4 ok

Shaun 01-01-2013 10:07 PM

I liked it, it was the first one I watched regularly though so it's probably more of a nostalgic thing. It was good for the first five weeks or so, until they got rid of Tania, Federico, Sissy, Anouska and Gos.

I liked Scott and Ray too... but Jon, Cameron, Steph, Nush and Lisa were crap.

Macie Lightfoot 01-01-2013 10:16 PM

The cast itself wasn't that bad, just most of the good people went early and Cameron/Steph were loathsome

I'm not necessarily a fan, but it was the last BB where the HMs were allowed loads to drink, even having an "ever-open" bar at one point, and where the HMs (apart from the odious Stout) were quite happy to stay up all night in or by the pool.

Unfortunately, despite it being a glorious summer, books were still allowed in, so the days were quite boring.

Still, there were hilarious moments, like Scott taking a piss with Nush strapped to his back in an Irish tricolour.

worst winner out of the lot, bible bashing Stout is even worse than the Belo.

"What Would Jesus Do"

Quote:

The phrase "What would Jesus do?" (often abbreviated to WWJD) became popular in the United States in the 1990s and as a personal motto for adherents of Evangelical Christianity who used the phrase as a reminder of their belief in a moral imperative to act in a manner that would demonstrate the love of Jesus through the actions of the adherents.
Stout wore a WWJD inscribed bracelet.

I feel it was the last BB that wasn't full of wannabe's and people using BB as a audition tape for their z list careers.

The books really didn't help (Gos and Cameron read all day or cooked)

Or Ray with all the camera's around trying to erm relief himself without camera looking at him was funny. Ray and Scott i taught at least tried to get everyone to party but Cameron and Steph really did zap the fun out of it.

Apart from Stout, who was trying to catch up with his BAFTA award-winning younger brother Julyan Sinclair, but who ended up in panto.

;)

Anouska was the one that always hurt cause she was the bright spark the house needed. It was the first mistake the BB producers ever made in my honest opinion letting her go cause of some stupid twist.

Tania only came to life when that south africian lad came over and clashed with her but sadly i think that experience took the fun out of her and she wanted out .

Sissy and Federico were great cause they anoyed the hell out of the boring ones which sadly were always going to lose out to steph and cameron's crew.

Nush was playing the game cause she played this hippy kinda girl who didn't say much in the house but once she got out she was out and about in clubs wearing short skirts and dolled up. Her stringing Scott along even though she had a BF outside was uncomfortable.

Scott and Ray were the only bright spots in the last few weeks cause at least they wanted to do things and party.

Eh?

Nush was always involved with everything - she was very popular with the males (no homosexuals in that series to upset Stout) and in fact sustained her broken leg while partying with Jon and Scott after the series ended.

haha Stout had his chickens and i taught he was going around the bend for a while. He did become a bit cocky the second time around but i couldn't hate te guy.

Nush i felt was a bit of a fake but sure maybe i'm wrong.

bbfan1991 01-01-2013 11:42 PM

Nush was my favourite in that year:blush:, which all round was so dull. I liked Scott, Ray, Jon and Federico too!

Suze 01-01-2013 11:49 PM

No two ways about it, BB4 was boring, but had some interesting characters who could have made for a better show if not for boring Stout. I didn't much like him or Ray. Ray had a nasty streak with the pepper, shampoo, and teabag jokes on Jon, he went too far imo. I liked Jon, one of my favourite contestants ever.

I remember Chris Moyles liked Jon, and when Chris went on holiday in the week Jon and Federico were up along with Stout, that Chris Moyles assistant Aled, who wasn't a Jon fan, rallied up support against Jon on the radio show at the time. Aled visited DS of which I was a member at the time and used to chat with us there, I answered a post of his in poem form which he read out on the show :o  many on DS said he shouldn't have done that without my permission and they were right, but he was ok in his posts to us, so I let him off.

Jon was my favourite, and I also liked Federico, and Sissy, and even Tania and her blusher :D was ok, remember her putting that on in darkness once :D I also didn't mind Steph at times, she was funny when she got drunk and they stuck potatoes or something in her bed.

July 9 2003

Quote:

9.02am: In around fifteen minutes time, the housemates will be awakened by Ray's song choice: today it's either Nelly or Busted. I'd bet Nelly.

9.16am: The lights are switched on. Steph sits up in bed and starts rubbing the sleep from her eyes.

9.17am: The opening notes of 'Hot in Herre' are played over the tannoy, causing Steph to smile. Lisa and Nush smile as they sit up in bed too. Tying her hair up, Nush sings along.

9.18am: Lisa has a little boogie as she makes her bed. Ray pops his head round the door, saying it was either this or Year 3000. Nush then Steph leave the room, followed by Lisa. Nush heads out into the garden where the music can still be heard and starts skipping around the grass. Ad break.

9.23am: We're back. Steph, Lisa, Ray and Cam are sitting on the sofas. Cam asks if Nush is in the bathroom. Lisa tells Ray he spoke too soon about the nice weather. Scott says he'll start on his chore but may need a hand in about an hour because it's quite a big job.

9.24am: Cam says he's just waiting for BB to announce the hot water is on. Ray laughs and tells him it's already on. Surprised, he gets up and enters the bathroom, as Steph goes out into the garden. Lisa is now sitting alone on the sofas.

9.26am: Lisa gets up and goes into the girls' bedroom, telling Nush, who is back in bed under the covers, that her shoes look cool. Lisa kneels down by her bed, pauses, then says she'll have a shower before she gets dressed.

9.27am: Lisa returns to the sofas, whilst in the background, Scott is doing the drying up in the kitchen.

9.29am: Scott passes Lisa a bin bag, which she takes over and hands to Steph, who is waiting at the patio doors. Lisa returns to the sofas, then Steph asks for some rubber gloves, which she takes over before returning again to the sofas.

9.31am: Scott empties the kitchen bin, taking ther black bin bag out into the garden. Lisa watches on from the sofas.

9.34am: Lisa gets up and goes into the girls' bedroom. Nush asks if the shower's free. Lisa tells her she's going in after Cameron, then Nush can go in after her. Lisda picks up her towel and walks out into the garden, remarking on the "little pieces of poo" left everywhere by ther chickens.

9.35am: Scott is now washing up the wok. Lisa comes back indoors and returns to... the sofas.

9.36am: Lisa asks Scott how often the mirrors were cleaned before he had to the other day; he says not very often, although he saw Ray doing them a few times. Ad break.

9.41am: Scott is still in the kitchen. He pours all of the half-full bottles of lemonade into one bottle, then pours hot water from the kettle into a cup and throws the empty bottles away.

9.44am: Scott sets about cleaning the inside of the oven using teatowels.

9.47am: ..and a scouring pad, having used some kitchen spray.

9.49am: BB announces that the SR is open for the next half hour. Cam re-enters the hosue and goes into the store room, using a box to keep the door open.

9.50am: "Active gel oven cleaner," he tells Scott, picking up the first of the items and taking it out to him. Cam asks if they've given thought to what they're going to be eating today.

9.51am: Scott is now putting that spray to good use. Cam says if they have the soup for lunch, then tonight they could have sausage and tomato casserole with a potato topping. Scott, who has his head in the oven, agrees.

9.52am: Cam retrivess some tins from the store room, as well as a couple of potatoes and some more spray.

9.53am: Cam asks if they need bread, Scott says he might as well get a loaf out. He asks if he should take out another pack of sausages if they'll be making that meal; Scott agrees again.

9.54am: Nush comes out, Scott says he may need a hand. Nush tells Cam she';ll clean the bedroom mirrors if he likes, then goes for a shower.

9.55am: Cam is still wittering on about the sausage for tonight; Scott is agreeing but he doesn't really seem to be paying much attention.

9.56am: Cam goes back into the SR. "Do we need more cheese out?" he asks, before adding: "I'm sorry Scott, I'll stop asking, you're busy." Nevertheless Scott tells him they do. out in the garden, Steph is working on cleaning the chicken coop.

9.57am: Scott now has on a pair of yellow rubber gloves and is emptying a spray bottle at the sink. Cameron waits patiently behind him holding another spray bottle.

9.58am: Cameron pours the contents from one bottle into another, as Scott cleans the spray tube part from one bottle with hot water. Cameron's beard is coming on quite a bit.
Those were the days .....
