Hey - not long away now until the convention - starting to get quite excited!!:colour::dance::colour:
Found some pics of the hotel we're at - steve_o, it will be good for us because we can use the gym and pool and stuff seeing as I think we are the only ones staying there (anyonje else boarding there?)

I remember going there years ago when I was a mere slip of a girl. It used to be a nightclub with a sort of steak house type thing and bar attached. It used to be our regular Friday night post pub disco haunt!! Spent many a happy (drunken)hour dancing to Sylvester's 'You make me feel mighty real' and Roxy Music's 'Love is the Drug'. God, that takes me back!!

They've certainly done a lot of work in the intervening years and it looks very swish. I think our evening will be fab and I can't wait for 2 November to come around.

I stayed there last year and you'll have a ball it is like being in seventh heaven. the pool e.c.t. are great it's a massive place i got lost loads of times :hugesmile:
there was a shiek staying there when i was there with loads of servants

The Night club is still there, it's attached to the hotel, with free entry for anyone at the hotel, so if any of you have any energy left you might like to spend an hour there after the convention :elephant: :dazzler: :elephant:
