I think they're trying to put it down to be honest......because they're so bitter about being brokeass while the other Hills stars are millionairres xx

Heidi was just really honest about it.

She said it was pretty much real for the first 2 seasons and then from season 3 onwards it become more scripted which you could tell just by watching it.

She seems like such a nice girl in the first 2 seasons but has become a slightly strange woman.

Basically the cast mates would have one on ones with producers to talk about whats happening in their lives ect.

Then for instance if Heidi had told producers her and Lauren had fallen out then they would arrange for them to both be at the same party or place one day causing drama. So they would react real but it was sort of staged.

If LC had kissed some guy then they would send that guy in with another girl lol so it was kind of real for a short while.

From series 3 onwards they started scripting and manipulating the show to please viewers but it was just blatant.

For instance Heidi would be walking down a street and then Lauren would come the other way....Erm what are the chances they just happened to be filming Heidi casually walking down the street doing her own thing.

..it's quite well known that it was scripted...didn't they take down all of the scenery at the end, when it was 'supposed to have been real'...

Brody was standing with the hollywood sign in the background i think and then the camera panned out and somebody rolled away revealing it was a screen.

Everywhere else was filmed in actual locations in LA.

It isn't just well known, it was openly scripted, it's of the scripted reality genre like JS and TOWIE

...ahh, I didn't actually watch it but just heard something about it....the lines/situations were scripted though right..?

I remember someone posted the ending to that on here once. I actually thought it was pretty cool

Heidi and Spencer are effectively characters with the same name as the people playing them whenever on TV.

Made In Chelsea is 100% scripted i have mates who have been extras on there who said they have scripts, do takes, different angles ect.

lauren conrad mentioned it on the bravo show too, it started out as kind of real but by the end there was a lot of producers influence, who to fight with, hook up with etc..

This is why I don't see the point of watching these type of 'reality' shows when they are not real at all...

all those progs are fixed rigged & scripted, i cant believe people actually watch them.
